What is the point of a tier list? Can't people just enjoy their villagers without worrying how popular they are?

Its more for when people sell their villagers, they can see the tier they are in and hopefully see how much its worth, so that when they sell/auction they know what the buyout should be or the approximate price that the villager should be sold for.

Butch is an underrated villager. I think he's the best-looking dog in the game. Not in terms of good looks; but in authenticity.

I think all the dogs except for Lucky are underrated especially Bones, Walker, Butch, and Biskit who is in a lot of top tens on YouTube videos.

In all honesty, i think tier 5 should be split up a bit. There are definitely some Tier 5's that are more popular then others. Plus it includes a good chunk of the games villagers. I think a Tier 6 should be implimented or either a Higher/Lower Tier 5

I agree with this. Too many crammed into one tier, and some of them in there I believe should not be considered "bottom of the barrel".

It's over half of the villagers in this tier and there are some that are wayyyy more unpopular then others. I'd love to see it happen someday C:

At the moment, I am currently not keen on splitting Tier Five.

If I do, it will not be for a while, because I am far too busy and stressed with rl stuff to take on such a big project (as the split will have to create two large tiers)

yeah i understand that. it would be cool to see in the future though C: hope everything gets better for you though. i'm pretty stressed myself as well with finals/other real life issues. it would probably take a ton of research to to really look into the Tier 5 villagers and they don't pop up enough to really gather a firm amount of evidence

probably because since he put in so much time to compile the list in the first place, he probably wants to do it himself if he ever does it. i understand if it doesn't happen though since it would be hard to gather research since so many Tier 5's are autovoided and few are ever sought out or adopted. it's much easier to gather research for Tier 2+ because they're always seen in LF Posts and Adopted etc
