List of Villagers Based on Popularity

Am I the only one that likes Jambette?

I'm sure you're not the only one. People who do like her are probably just hiding. But I feel you, since I feel like I'm one of the only people on here who likes Coach the bull.

No.

I like Jambette. (I love the name!)

She is original to my first town, Applewin, which I have had since August 17, 2013. Also original to that town are Scoot and Twiggy.

Since Hound00med started this list, in November 2013, I don't remember Jambette, Scoot, or Twiggy emerging from the lowest tier of popularity ranks. And, frankly, that's fine. One of the benefits of playing "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" is experiencing the villagers. One of the benefits of making an interesting town in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" is mixing up the tiers one can represent in a given town. (I don't do?All or Nothing! I have Stitches and Rosie in Applewin. I have Julian, Phoebe, Tia, who had placed in the Top Tier and no longer are there. I have the surprisingly underappreciated Hamlet. By the way: The hamsters are the game's most underrated specie.)

There really is no saying what you can and cannot do with what you have for a cast of villagers in a given town in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf." No one has to explain his or her dislikes of particular villager characters. (So, you are not alone in liking the Normal frog Jambette. I like her, too.)

I had Kitty (Tier 5 snooty) in my cycle town & thought she had a really cute design & elegant house. Was pretty shocked to see that just like the list says, no one wanted her, even when I left her up overnight to give people from different timezones a chance---nope!

I am also really interested in Skye, and was disappointed to see she is in the top tiers because that will make her harder to obtain. I was also unhappy to see Celia, my second choice to Skye--in tier 5 as they are even harder to get than tier one--because of other cyclers and the deadly "autovoid" (a horrible word that reminds me of concentration camps for some reason) that would also make her hard to obtain for different reasons.

I also keen on Ruby and always have been (she was my second choice by a straw to peppy Tangy), but noticed she wasn't very popular a year ago, but over the last few months she has gotten a sort of indie following of Ruby admirers!

I never understand why no one cares for Timbra! she's just like all the other sheep, but her eyes are open and she's orange with green horns! a cool color scheme, cool name, cool theme... whatever she's my Tier 5 jewel then!

Timbra does seem interesting and I love sheep, but the blue eyeshadow is just eugghhh... then again I learned to love Diva, who is much worse about ugly makeup Would your Apex Bay town happen to have a dream address?
Edit: Also, in all of New Leaf the only sheep with closed eyes are Baabara and Wendy, so I'm not sure why the whole species seems to be known for that

I'm starting to feel bad for most of the 5 tiers, sorry you're not cute enough to have like Marshal or Diana
My poor favorite villager Sally is one of them, I like her a bit more than Poppy, I don't know what I'll do if I lost her.
Most of these villagers are voided so fast, I at least give it 15 mins or more before I void. Because you'll never know who is looking for that 5 tier.

I'm so weird. I got rid of Phoebe to move Shari the monkey in as my uchi. For a uchi, she looks good and has been great. I don't know why the monkeys (Nana especially) are overlooked.

I don't even know how long I spent looking for Portia the adorable dalmatian before finding her in a cycling thread. And then we've got Axel, Eunice, Gayle, Pinky, Midge, Purrl... why don't people give them a chance? </3

In my personal opinion, the monkeys are mostly just kinda ugly. But Shari isn't bad, same with Nana, and maybe if one of them shows up in StarLake or Traverse I'll give them a chance! My policy is usually, unless I'm cycling, to give each villager who moves in a bit of a chance to see if I like them without ignoring them before I make them leave. :3

Yeah I guess Shari and Nana were the ones I was thinking about. I personally like having Shari in my town. I would've taken Champ in easily if he was in this game.

I don't think that's the case really. Tier 5s really don't get as much love as they should. Everyone loves the tier 1s, just because there aren't threads about 'popular villagers you like' doesn't mean nobody does lol. There's a popularity list for a reason but the unpopular threads are frequent because there isn't a numbered order for tier 5s so I guess some people are just curious about their opinion of the lower tiers.

I started with Beau in my town when I first got ACNL. I didn't know about tier popularity or anything like that. But I loved him so much. I lost him to time traveling about 3 months ago. Been trying to get him again ever since. ;-;

True. Boomer is my favorite villager and he is considered bottom of the barrel. I suspect that may be because he's visually quite plain? He really does have some unique interactions with the player, and I love the fact that he can't seem to stop talking about food.

aww cally is in my campsite right now, since she hasn't been in previous games I've never seen her before. was surprised to see she's at the very bottom. but I have a weakness for squirrels (and wolves) so that's probably why xD. still ! Im surprised she's not at least tier 4, little cutie.
