List of Villagers Based on Popularity

What does that even mean? The only uniqueness the villagers have from each other is the way they look and last time I checked fang was the only wolf of that color in the game.

I personally love Fang and Wolfgang. Whitney's pretty cool, too. Some people just like wolves in real life, and so, even though their in-game design may not be particularly unique or different, everyone has their favorite animals, haha. Everything's subjective.- - - Post Merge - - -

I for example love wolves in real life, to me they are the most majestuous and beautiful animal on earth so that explains why I like the wolves in Animal Crossing and Whitney is my favourite since I had her at the beginning of my first town in ACWW and saw her in the film! I thought she's so sweet x) and I love white woves so a plus XD
as you said, everything's subjective^^ everyone has their own preferences some love the hamsters I don't hate 'em but well xDD they're not as cute as the real ones xDD
Unique to me implies a colour you would not see naturally in the wild

I don't think that villagers being like how they are in the wild makes them dull at all..
Or else that would make Molly dull in your Food town..
Whitney is easily one of the best wolves, and is a billion times better than ugly old Freya..
I also love villagers like Pecan, Blanche, Bangle, Erik, Joey, Flora & Rowan.. Just to name a few.. They're all amazing villagers, but they are how they would be in the wild.. But that certainly doesn't make them dull at all
Also, your favourite villager Vesta should technically be titled as dull as well 'cos she is a regular sheep

I know it seems hypocritical it's just with certain villagers i don't see the hype, and especially with Fang when there are cooler wolves..

Would a trade be considered equal where a person will give me Stitches while I give that person Beau?
I just bought a third copy of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," and am going to work on trying to get more of what I want in the way of specific villagers. And with the third town, I plan something else.
In my original town of Applewin, finally Clyde today [actual date of 03.06.2014] has pinged my Mayor Jill to tell her he is about to move. That is where I will want to place Stitches.
With my newest copy of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," I just started it today. So, this concern over original material worn by, and living with, for a given villager (in this case, Beau) is brand new.
In Hound00med's popularity list, from 02.27.2014 (last Thursday; awaiting this week's update), Stitches ranked as No. 4 while Beau ranked as No. 7.

I have to admit that it makes me a little nervous. I believe it may need to be done with a forum member who has a solid rating; not someone who signed up only days ago.
At this time, I'm not doing anything just yet. It's a little juggling act.

There is a first for a lot of things.
Then if you don't feel comfortable, don't perform the trade.
However, a Beau for Stitches trade is fine by my standards.

The comfort thing … I know. And, of course, I wouldn't go through with trusting in a villagers trade without being certain. As for the specifics of what you said about the ranks ["that you can't trade them for a villager that's towards the bottom"], I'm cool. I was able to get fellow deer Erik and Fauna, both of whom I like better than Beau, for my second town Progress. Beau is on par with Stitches in the preciously cute, cuddly boy department. So, I'm okay with the Top-Tier trade potential of Stitches-for-Beau.
I just wanted to ask, here, what people's opinions are on the potential of such a trade.
