i came back to brewsters after like 2 years to see dora the explorer with a knife

anyways i watched the trailer for curiosity's sake and like... that's really an embarrassment of a trailer like i cannot tell what mood they're going for at all. you got knife dora and the posse being kidnapped likely trying to save her parents and there's fun peppy music playing, paramount pictures it's time to fire someone.

that being said i'm sure children who are still into dora will enjoy it, it's not a movie for our age group we aren't supposed to be ecstatic over it.

What in the holy h*ll did I just watch? I remember the creators of Dora explaining why they made Swiper's teeth less pointy in later episodes and now Dora has a survival knife in her backpack? This isn't for the Dora the Explorer target age group. I don't know who this is for.

Two questions:

1) Why doesn't Boots wearing his boots?

2) Where tf is Swiper?

At this point, I'm just waiting till someone drops a live-action Crash Bandicoot movie or Nickelodeon
coming out of nowhere and pulling off a live-action The Angry Beavers movie (don't ask me why, just
had a thought about this and now it sticks in my mind the whole time, ugh). To be honest, I totally forgot
that they even planned a live-action Dora movie. I didn't watched Dora that much, but know the show
and I don't know what I should say or think about this movie or the trailer at this point. Looks for me
like a fan made video for YouTube to be honest. So far, Detective Pikachu looks the best out of all
those live-action movies in my opinion.

Did they literally get the plots and ideas from this trailer?? Honestly the resemblance between the two is uncanny

This trailer above shows more notable things about Dora the Explorer than the entire official trailer did, like the backpack and map and all that. And Swiper above all!

But instead we got Dora with a knife??
