Lottie without makeup?

Lottie without makeup is so cute! I love her little bonus costume that comes with her amiibo. At first I was confused as to why her eyes looked different, but I think she's actually really cute without makeup!

I agree. I hate makeup on the villagers and the concept of it; there are only a few that I think are cute that have some makeup on them, even though I'd prefer that they had no makeup at all. Lottie is cute but much cuter without the makeup in my opinion.

YES! The first time it happened I didn't realize anything was wrong until I left the building and I went right back in and she had makeup again. So I thought it was a glitch. The second time it happened, I talked to her and she said she forgot to put on her makeup. I thought that was a cute little touch! I wonder if the other NPCs have little things like that that I'm not noticing.

I don't mind the makeup, and I don't think it's weird that they have any on, I mean... we build houses for crocodiles and anteaters, having makeup on is the least weird thing about this game. Sometimes I think the choice of makeup is a bit off (blue eyeshadow anyone??) but do we honestly know how many villagers are or aren't wearing makeup?? When Lottie wears it, the only difference we see is that she has larger eyes with prominent eyelashes. There's no weird colored eyeshadow or lipstick to notice. Now think about how many villagers have prominent eyelashes. How do we know Bunnie isn't wearing mascara too and that her eyes are actually much smaller? Or Cookie, or Skye? Can you honestly say they're not wearing any? Lol, sounds like conspiracy theories but we're talking about a game where animals parallel people, so why wouldn't they do something people do normally as well?
Anyway, I think the most important part to me about the whole thing is that Lottie KNOWS she's just as beautiful without makeup!! :D

I've seen that before in my HHD! I was honestly so freaked out and I actually thought it was a bug, turns out it wasn't ><;

Haha... Exactly. Thanks for saying that.
Lottie's make-up is not prominent at all so if they haven't included that little funny bit about her lack of makeup, I doubt anyone would even think that she was wearing makeup to begin with. The same way that we most likely don't perceive Cookie or Rosie as wearing makeup. There are some villagers whose make-up is way more prominent and you actually see eyeshadow or lipstick (Monique and Alli come to mind). But come on people, it's a game. Many of the villagers also have hair and they all wear clothes and walk on their hind legs.

A agree with you!
But i think that the people that hate thay they wear makeup are linking it to animal cosmetic testing. Which is a horrible thing. But i dont see it that way because the villagers are humanoid really.

yes , i dont like it. are the trying to make her looking boring or bland without makeup?
idk maybe its just me.

I think it's her "skincare/make-up" ribbon, that she uses at home? She was in a hurry so she didn't put her work ribbon nor make-up!

I find that very cute and endearing. I don't have HHD yet but I already really like her!

I kind of realized that if you don't play for a long time (this is how it happens in my game at least) it'll appear that she has no makeup on! Before I found out that she wasn't wearing makeup, I thought she was shocked! XD

Never played HHD and probably never will, parents still have me grounded
