Kissing underneath the missile toad
Will cause it to unleash its payload
Blasts of eternal love
Will rain down from above
Upon you and your partner's abode
The winter solstice has come and gone
When we had our longest wait for dawn
Let our days grow brighter
And our hearts get lighter
As the sun feels less and less withdrawn

Before Christmas a girl went and shopped
The beautiful gifts couldn’t be topped
She was feeling quite fine
In the long checkout line
‘Til the total came up and she dropped!
I needed to find a good present
Hours and hours shopping were spent
Looking back, I digress
The whole time, I was stressed
Worrying about dollars and cents!
No more rummaging through the Target
Squeezing everything from my wallet
Trying my luck for Shino
Let's revive the joys of snow
Fooled again by that crazy carpet
Here we are, at the end of the year
Twinkling lights and lots of Christmas cheer
Sad for the year end
But I'm glad to spend
These cold holidays with you, my dear
Ah, Poppy, my dear, it’s time to wake up,
Gifts, lights, even your favourite syrup,
Items have all been gathered,
Now with the curtains lowered
Let us celebrate, my sweet buttercup!
It's time for Toy Day, merry and jolly
With gifts, cookies and wreaths made of holly
So be sure to play nice
And eat all of your rice
For Jingle will come when you're good, Molly!
Look up at pine trees blanketed with snow
Aurora setting the night sky aglow
Silhouette of reindeer, sleigh
Past the full moon far away
They could hear jingle bells and “Ho, Ho, Ho”
Getting ready for a holiday feast
All day in the kitchen making the treats
Turned for only a second
(The porcelain throne beckoned)
But ‘Twas time enough for Fido to eat!
Merengue baked a tasty Christmas treat
All wrapped up tight and gorgeously neat
When her friends weren't wise
Oh what a surprise
It was a ginormous feast to eat!
My dear Marshal so sweet yet so cold
Close we have become as years unfold
Yet still no special gift, dear.
May this Xmas be the year
That I get my framed photo to hold
