I believe that people had good intentions to go after me. The way I see it, role claimin would be something only noob scum or a noob doctor would do, and so of course it was logical for them to get suspicious.

Do you think it's townie or scummy to assume noob scum over noob doc?

I'm basically trying to walk you through how I scumhunt. You have to look at an incident, think of a person doing it would be scum or town motivated, and go from there. If you have mainly town reads, you can find mafia via process of elimination. Scum reads are self explanatory.

@Aron you gotta look at peoples post and try to decide whether it makes more sense to say it as town or scum also you gotta keep track of peoples behavior (reads, emotion, activity with other players) and see if it makes sense... if you get a gut feeling about something its usually cause it feels forced or not something a town member would do/say. i had a hard time when i first started (and still do) but i hope you are still having fun and want to improve to continue playing with us in the future.

And things can have multiple potential meanings, which is what makes mafia hard. Like for example, I'm trying to help you here so you can figure things out better and be a better asset to town. But someone could also look at me helping and think that I'm trying to gain your favor so you're more inclined to trust me. And these multiple dimensions is what makes mafia hard.

He's been very quiet (obviously), and the only times he posts are saying he's catching up and in replies. He hasn't really contributed at all, or really tried to contribute. In fact, the only time he actively posted as in questioning and **** was when he was indirectly under attack (for being associated with inactive/new members for being the lynch). And while I agree that's stupid/flawed logic, the fact that that's all he felt like he wanted to reply to seems a bit odd to me. At least Cad seemed like she was trying to contribute and figure things out. Kevinn hasn't at all, even in the few times he has posted.

im sus of m3ow_ because of what i said before, and alexi, because i feel like u were agreeing with me a lot and trying to get me to trust you more in the future, but that could just be me imagining things due to not a lot of confidence.

as for aron im still on the fence, but as ive said before he and his situation can be dealt with in a day or 2.

I thought you were right at my odd defensiveness, it helped me realize my post quality was all to one subject, it was all fighting a pointless battle and I was being rather useless to town. Though I was not suspicious of Tardis because they were suspicious of me, I was suspicious at the way they spoke and I almost thought maybe jester in play with some of their content.

Reading back, I've got one more point to add to m3ow's read.

In general, Alexi is tunneling in on Aron way too hard, barely said a word about Ness except that she agreed with Xine's read and he's been inactive (null indicative considering he's active usually as both town and mafia), and barely even mentioned having a meow suspicion besides "some of us" had suspicions on her, yet meow was one of her top scumreads.

So going through some of these I noticed I didn't have enough information to make a case for/neutral/against them so I left out anyone I didn't feel like I had enough knowledge of to give an accurate opinion on. As a heads up, I did not do these in order so some of them may be referencing earlier/later members that I did before or after,

Heyden - Really rubs me the wrong with way with his exit, their last few posts before he left were making sure no lynch would never be an option (to be fair it's a bad idea), but he made sure to leave making sure we didn't lynch him when no one was really sus of him or throwing his name out there. His past few posts really throw me on a sus trail. Not to mention for the first part of the game he put himself on invisible so we couldn't see that he was viewing the thread (see http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?363810-Make-Mafia-Grate-Again!-Day-One&p=6434321&viewfull=1#post6434321 ). This post doesn't necessarily say scum, but going invisible is sus to me. Could be town, but I'm very wary of them.

Call Me Daniel - Seems pretty town to me. I don't really have any evidence or thoughts against him, he has the same problem as me where I don't like to just rehash what people have said (according to http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?363810-Make-Mafia-Grate-Again!-Day-One&p=6434753&highlight=#post6434753 ).

Alexi - M3ow_ had some really good cases against Alexi and she does seem to be a bit wishy-washy on how she deals with Aron specifically. I hate to just go "yeah they said it best" since I hate rehashing, but since it's one of the most prominent topics atm I may as well, I agree with M3ow_ and Kat's reads on her.

Tardis2016 - He's said some scummy things to me, the main part about him that bugs me is he wrote http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?363810-Make-Mafia-Grate-Again!-Day-One&p=6432955&highlight=#post6432955 and then accused inactives of being scum. I think he has scum posts on his hands, but I'm not claiming him to be scum just yet and like Aron may have just gotten himself in a bad spot.

Panda1376 - My opinion generally stays the same as what I said last night.

SarasaKat - Kat's probably the person who will best read me, lol. Anyways, she's been a helpful member to both Aron and been scumhunting pretty actively so I'm inclined to say town.

Crys - Will probably have a valid opinion once their big post comes, figured I'd mention them since their hype.

Toadsworthy - Disappeared for a bit (but he let us know ahead of time), but when he was posting he struck me as a town member.

Ness - For a long time I was on the bandwagon of the whole "Ness disappeared, he's scum," and I still haven't let him off the hook necessarily. However, his newest posts seemed genuine and I'm willing to hear him out when he gives us more to read.

Cadbberry - Knowing Cad for a while, I know she can get emotions tied up in her logic, but I'll be looking at the posts objectively and not as my friend. She got really defensive against Tardis even mentioning mine, Cad and Kevin's names when we weren't under much pressure so that rubs me the wrong way.

M3ow_ - I think they are town, they had some great points against Alexi so I'm inclined to trust them. Looking back, all of their posts have been very rational and with valid reasoning to help town so I'm inclined to go with a town read on them.

Kevinnn - Not many posts so it's hard to say, but like me for a while he was like "hey I'm catching up" as his posts, and like Cad, the moment our names were mentioned he got really defensive. I'm on board with Kat that I wanna hear more from him because he seems off to me.

Cory - I stick to what I said in my past post, I don't know Cory all that well and definitely don't know his meta so I don't know if he acts like this when he's town or not, but I think he came out swinging way too fast to be scum D1.

Aronthaer - There are so many red flags here, so many. I agree with the people who say he's town and just did a really bad **** up when he cracked under pressure, so while he's said some very scummy things and I've questioned him for some things he's said, I don't think he's too scummy yet. My opinion may change as the game goes on, but I'm on a town read for him right now.

I'm really quiet, even I know that. I'm really not too confident in any reads I gathered earlier. Whenever I had an attempt typed out, I'd refresh the page in another tab to see if someone beat me to it. Someone always does. Didn't wanna make it seem like I was just hopping onto someone else's opinion. That's why when Tardis mentioned the new members, I knew only me or the other two would reply.
