yes im that bored

read for a little info on what this is about:
-This is a children's story book based off the holocast.

-I don't think a kids book needs a spoiler alert, so this is basically what it's about: There's a cat town where there green cats and blue cats. Both of those groups of cats are friendly with each other.

But then one day a mean green cat tells all the cats that the blue cats cause trouble. At first the green cats don't believe it, but they soon do. Only few green cats are now friends with the blue cats. Later a bunch of orange cats come into the town and tell them that the green cat is a meanie and that he lies. The end.

-I illustrate everything.

-Please don't plagiarize. That's not cool.

I'll post the first page in a day or so.

um not sure if you wanted feedback but im giving it anyway, you can stop reading now if you want. Plot-wise this story is not really a story at all. Just because it's a kids story book isn't an excuse for poor writing. Going from this it seems like you are extremely underestimating the intelligence for this 'story', unless of course this is aimed at toddlers in that case the content doesn't matter at all as long as you have some pretty pictures. The fact that you are trying to make it about the holocaust just makes me cringe. I'm assuming here (so correct me if I'm wrong) that you're using this topic in this medium as a way to teach children a moral message that they wouldn't have learned by their age in normal society. From what you've written, I can't see how you have done this at all. If you want me to further explain why you have no evident plot in your story then let me know (like really, "person A lost their ball and they can't find it" has more of a plot).

And so I acknowledge the possibility that this is a joke thread, if it is, stop wasting your time, it's not even funny. :)

I look forward to seeing your illustrations though!

not to mention... theres already this :

I def agree with this, kids will probably just look at the pictures, even older than toddlers, so I guess it's fine as long as the illustrations have cute and shiny animals, but i don't think she really tried on the plot

Yeahhhh I think there's been enough holocaust books made out there for children (You know...made by real survivors or their descendents, not bored people)

I don't want to be rude, but the holocaust has extreme historical significance and you should think things through more and do it justice if you wanted to go through with making a book. :/ The fact that you said you're doing this because you're bored is disrespectful to all of the lives that were lost.

Yes, this is made for toddlers and so yes shiny pics.

The summary of the story is really dumbed down. The book is actually more serious.
Disrespectful?
I'm sorry, I didn't mean that at all. It's actually a project, and I decided to make a story book for it. There's no way in hell that l plan on selling/distributing/whatever anything of the book.

The first illustration is almost done, but it's not good at all and I think I've messed up on the colorations.
