Auction Marshal^~^ Highest bid: 16 million

I was one of the bidders of the previous auction before things fell through. I wasn't trying to be rude, I'm just slightly annoyed. People clamor for dreamies such as Marshal and people who sell such villagers for exorbitant prices are quite annoying. Thing is, after the person pulled out of the bid of 40 mil at the last minute, Marshal should have gone to the second highest bidder. I'm not sure if that was supposed to me, but I don't care because I already have Marshal, but point is that would have been the right thing to do - to give Marshal to the second highest bidder. I can only assume you did not do so because the second highest bid was way lower than your hoped-for price of 40-50 mil bells.

I'm not bit*ching, I'm standing up for people who don't have Marshal yet and would really love to get him. I know what it feels like to be one of those people.

I do to, but I also know that Im in need of bells. People would pay a reasonable price for him, and I expect to get a reasonable price.

That's reasonable. Does this auction have an end time then? I'm asking for future bidders.

It ends when Nash can get Marshal out.
If you're not bidding, why are you still on this topic anyway?

Why should she do anything for complete strangers? This is her Marshal, and if she wanted to sell him for 600 million, then let her. It doesn't concern you, and she can do whatever she wants. Other people aren't her concern, and they might want to rethink wanting the most popular villager in the game if they can't afford him.

Hey guys I don't mean to intervene but you guys really shouldn't continue onward talking badly about a user whose original post had no ill-intent. They were just trying to give you advice. Five posts after their original post shouldn't have been constantly bashing them as a person simply because they were saying something. There's no reason for you both to attack them.

And to icyii, I know it could be aggravating but it IS the OP's Marshal and they are free to do whatever they wish with him. The auction is still up and running. You can't really say much about it. It's their game, y'know? I'm sorry but this forum is usually so civil, so can't we just leave it at that and move on? ;___;

I shouldnt have been rude either. Im no better, but telling me what to do is out of line, and isnt appreciated.

I apologize, but I'm obviously quite protective of my friends and I won't stand when people are rude to them. However, I do disagree on there not being ill intent on their post, but that doesn't really matter.

@Kyoko - I'd be lying if I said I didn't understand where you're coming from, because you're absolutely right in that respect! It is your game and you're free to do whatever you want with a villager that is originally yours.
Perhaps icyii is just having a bad day? I'm not sure.

@NAsh88 - Oh no, I understand. Haha. I'm very overprotective of my friends too, it's just a bit sad when you say one thing and people are constantly going on about how rude you are. Their second post definitely had a bit of a feeling of ill-intent but the first one they posted really just seemed like they were trying to inquire about the auction end-date, but went about it in a bad way.

You're both very sweet people and I can tell you are, but all I'm saying is it would be nice to be a little more civil to one another. This isn't directed at you two only but also to icyii.

In any case, let's try to change the subject! How are you two?

Sorry about my first impression >.< I'm great, though. Thanks for asking c:

I apologize for seeming rude.

On another note, Mayor Aimi, I realized Kyoko got her Marshal for free from a kind person who gives people their dreamies. I understand Marshal is hers and she can do anything she wants with him but...

Oh well. I apologize if I caused any offence.

Omg thank you all for being reasonable about this. I was nervous about intervening in this in the first place, haha.

@NAsh88 - That's lovely! I'm glad! And there's no reason for you to apologize! n__n <333 I'm glad your day is going well though!

@icyii - I understand that, but the point still remains I suppose. I mean whoever gave Kyoko Marshal, did so of their own accord, so what they choose to do with him is their right? If that makes sense. I mean, just because he was donated to them by someone else doesn't mean it isn't theirs. I guess what I'm saying is, once Marshal was handed over to Kyoko he became hers to do whatever she wished to. Just like whoever wins this auction has every right to do whatever they want with their now Marshal. Whoever has Marshal in the end is the owner of him, therefore they can do what they wish! n__n

I also didnt intend to sell him, I didnt play for a while and he was put in boxes by mistake. And yes, Marshal is mine and I will do what I want, nomatter my circumstances of getting him.

Didn't you say in your first post that you might keep Marshal if the bid was not to your satisfaction, though? Unless you changed your mind after that, for which I'm sorry you lost Marshal. He's a cutie. My hunt for Marshal was very frustrating until I finally decided to use the villager reset trick to get him, hence my posts might've carried an edge. I hope Marshal goes to a good home.
