Member of the month?

That is a disaster waiting to happen.

Generally speaking, this idea *MAY* cause more problems than happy-ness here in the magical world of The Bell Tree. Unless however, everything was thought out and carefully planned.

It's definitely better than having people vote on it.

Most things like this are generally done randomly or with a large poll. I prefer sites that don't have these at all.

I concur. These things, like I said, are based off popularity and maybe even favoritism. The community could go well without these things.

I think it's a neat idea, but it would cause a lot of problems with people competing and spamming, like everyone before me has mentioned, so my vote is no.

Which would only support the chaos of it being a popularity contest. xD People would be wailing and what not every time someone other than them won the contest. In addition to that, there may be people who will form a hidden aliance to gang up against certain people who were candidates for the competition.

No, I'm not saying a big war over who's member of the month. It IS just some stupid forum thing to do anyways, Plus You aren't to spam to become member of the month.

But it also could be partial. If the admins like someone better, they might pick that person. Or if it was put to a member vote based on who the admins nominated, it could get hectic. Cause people would be making posters and stuff. It would get very annoying.

What are these member awards? I haven't floated around this section much to find such information, so please enlighten me.
