No, remember when Sony got sued because the PS2 had some elements that were apparently copied, and they wanted Sony to stop selling PS2's? Yeah, that definitely happened.

Exactly what I was gonna say.

If they actually take this through to court, they can't win. Nintendo and Microsoft have a nearly unlimited amount of money to spend on lawyers, etc., but the smaller company can't spend as much...

The larger companies would keep coming back with stuff, prolonging the whole case, and making it so the smaller company can't afford it anymore. Then they just settle on a payoff. It's also not uncommon for the latrge companies to buy the patents.

I swear, someone could copyright a shape, and if anyone else used it they'd sue them... this company, anascape or whatever, they copyrighted the "3D controller" thats a little general if you ask me. : \
