Mittens Vs. Gloves

Very serious topic ;3 ! I think mittens are better since they keep your fingers together instead of spreading them out, which is better for warmth. I also think that they look a lot cuter than gloves.

I prefer just bare hands, but I did have an old zipper that I wore under my coat that had holes for you to stick your thumbs through. It felt a little bit warmer but still allowed me to use my fingers for things like getting money out of my purse, using my phone, etc.

Now I use a pair of those gloves that just go over your hands with no fingers. They have a furry edge near the fingers so they feel pretty good.

I love gloves, because they can quite stylish to wear and can be worn for any occasion. I own a pair of elegant leather gloves that I just adore wearing during winter, and when I'm feeling casual, I'll wear my black fingerless gloves.

Mittens for warmth, gloves for style and practicality. Mittens look a bit young for my liking, but winters are absolutely brutal where I live so they're necessary on occasion. Aesthetically speaking, I definitely prefer gloves.

the lowest it ever gets where i live is high 30's fahrenheit so i rarely get to wear them BUT i'm going to beijing , xi'an , and seoul in december so i bought these really cute knitted style gloves with faux fur on the inside

TLDR gloves are my choice when i get the choice hahaa

I prefer to keep my hands bare, even in the winter. With bare hands, I can grip onto metal objects (like doorknobs) very well.

I prefer gloves because my fingers feel really restricted in mittens. However, my hands get cold really easily and mittens do keep my fingers nice and toasty.

I never really wear either to be honest (save for my leather horseriding gloves, they are essential if I don't want my hands cut up by the reins lol!) I'd say that I prefer mittens as they are smol and adorable and help to keep you warmer (easier to throw snowballs!) but gloves can be worn in basically any month without people being confused as they can be taken as a more stylish and fashionable approach, and they are more practical. It really depends on what you are wanting to use them for!
