betsy i don’t has done much to pull me in either direction so she’s still null. i’d like to hear more of what she has to say given she’s so far said a lot of “i don’t trust anyone/know how to reas anyone” (which i can see given she’s only played with me but i think she could meta read me better at this point)

Pfft. Sorry to say, I still can't meta read you. It's what got me last time. This time around, I'm trying to point out things I see as off, but not putting anyone in firm town/maf yet because that's a mistake I've made too many times.

On reading you- You're good at sneaky influence so I'm looking out for that. If I had to do a poe from town to sus, it'd be dan, ness, ace. For now. Actual voting, usually it ends up being the "most town" who is wolf, and actual town making mistakes because they aren't careful, so I'd vote dan.

Maybe not, though, esp if we know how many maf are left after rooms, (which hopefully we will). We can chart players by room. We know one maf per room, so use a room chart and keep track of it?

This setup will be flipless. Upon a players death, their alignment will not be revealed. Alignments will be revealed once one of the teams have met their win condition and the game is over. This is the most experimental aspect of this game but it has been tested and run before, town has proven that they are able to win without the information from flips the last time this was done!

If all three mafia are not lynched during their cell phases the game will continue onward with day phases where everyone can post together and night phases where mafia may kill one townie of their choosing. Mafia will not have a quicktopic chat until after the cell phases are complete and if there are two or three mafia left standing.

Yeah I just worked that out. I was thinking once group game starts, town could agree to eliminate by room, which guarantees a maf elim, but the numbers didnt really work once I plotted it, because the whole room would need to go to be sure.

Well, I'm heading out for tonight. I looked thru iso and didn't see anything that stood out that I didn't already mention. (Really hard when its a single page for each, feels like nitpicking at small things).

In a bigger game, I try to look for sudden view changes without reason, so looked for that and didn't really see it. Only one view change I noticed - dan's view of ness changing from 'vague and quiet' to 'most town' - and it seems (to me) a natural, logical progression based on ness' posts. Some bit of tunneling going on (ace/dan), some pocketing attempts...it's just...not much to go on for a firm decision.

Will be back on tomorrow. Sidenote, did y'all make monsters?

I’m slowly warming up to the idea of betsy being town here. tonally, she feels pretty genuine, even if she doesn’t have much of a solid read on anyone. i still think ness’s response to ace were pretty good, so im at Ace being at the bottom for me. I’m open to discussion though since im more interested in solidifying my town reads given that this is flipless. i’m also hoping to take a more chill approach to this game since I cannot take a flipless setup that seriously if i’m honest. but geoni has said this is meant to be a chill game so i’m fine with that

If I go back to Mario mafia, ness is acting similar, and well that didn't end well.

Out of the 3 the one Im more scare of is Daniel, because if he is the wolf, once normal cycles start, people will follow. tbh

To be candid I’m not convinced that Betsy is town yet since she’s more than capable of faking tone, just from what I know about her. I’m going to have to read the game where she was mafia because Betsy is smart lol.

Dan debateably has had some of the best posts so far, his latest one strikes me as kind of a (checks notes) “mind meld” since his thoughts on Betsy somewhat align with mine. It feels like his motivations are solving the game with his posts rather than pushing an agenda.

Ace I stand by that you’ve had the weirdest start. Your latest posts are just looking like your spitballing, trying to see what can stick. If you think Dan is mafia, give me a reason to vote with you other than just the statistics of it, that’s the only thing you’ve provided on why you wanted him dead lol. Unless you’re planning on switching to me off a 2 year old game then meh.

Also… not to be rude but I’m legit wondering why you were chosen for the neighborizor since we’re talking about you being the elimination this phase. I almost want to think that whoever had the neighborizor was trying to communicate with a mafia team mate. Not to meta game here but I’m curious if the mafia knows who their team mates are yet
