Meeting Flora made me want to get her in my main town. I guess that is good reason to have a cycling town so that I can meet different villagers I don't know and consider which ones I want in the future. I hope to meet Flora in my main town one day.

Thanks for the advice on additions to my Pokemon team, Ricardo! I've wanted a Goodra for a while, actually, I've just been procrastinating because, for Pokemon I want on my team, I breed for desirable natures, and I haven't had the motivation to do that just yet as I finally finished breeding batches of Noibats a few days ago.
And I learned the hard way how powerful Aegislash can be. A friend of mine wiped my whole party with her Aegislash and Greninja.

Unfortunately, no... I've been playing since Red and Blue and have never encountered a single shiny.
There are a few shinies I'd love to have... Namely Noivern and Haxorus. I'm considering trying the Masuda method after I beat the Elite Four. I'm just simultaneously horrified and amazed by people saying they get their shinies after 1,000+ eggs, often over 2,000! I really don't know if I have the dedication, haha.

I tried to get a shiny Amaura using the Masuda method. After maybe 300+ eggs I gave up. I don't have dedication, lol.

I hope she moves out soon. I had her as the starting ten and she and Bertha are the only ones left. I talked to them a lot before cycling so it might take a while. Luckily I have nothing to do except watch soccer games. Hopefully she moves out within the next couple hours.
Haha, no worries! I'm patient. I know how frustrating and time consuming cycling can be, and it's so unpredictable too.
I'll be home a lot tomorrow like I was today, and even if she doesn't leave tomorrow... I'm really in no hurry. I've had a nice time chatting a bit in this thread, it's been a pleasant experience overall no matter what.

To tell you the truth, i don't know either. I would ask the other expert cyclers, but I am too shy.
I only know that I move in villagers and then they move them out to people that want them or if no one wants the villager they get voided.
