we got about 16 hours left of the day left and no real consensus of anyone(s). i like to go about d1 by sorting how who i DONT want to eliminate and then go from there

IMO droqen and betsy are the only ones part of my town core so far.

Droqen, as I’ve said before, didn’t react much to pressure which I think is a town sign given mafia tend to get paranoid about being in the spotlight and try to deflect. I would need droqen to make more reads in order to keep them on that list, but I’m good with them for now.

Betsy is making one of the strongest efforts in this game right now which i think is pro-town behavior. in a game where most players aren’t contributing much yet, I don’t see mafia having much reason to pretend to solve yet. At the very least, I think betsy is doing good enough to keep around for tomorrow.

given that antonio has just replaced and sheep didn’t say much, I wouldn’t vote them just to given them more time to read and contribute, even if i don’t have a read on the slot yet


so we’re left with everyone else (blooming, geoni, volt, catharina, and bianca).

I need to hear back from blooming on the geoni vote, but I wouldn’t have much reason to vote them beyond them arguably saying the least so far. Wouldn’t vote but also wouldn’t defend tbh.

volt, bianca, and catharina in general have been pretty quiet and I need to pick their brains more.

I voted volt to see if anyone would react, but nothings come out of it. volt feels a bit low motivation so far and I don’t see much reason to move my vote yet.

catharina I have a gut feeling is a bit hesitant to give any real thoughts. she townreads blooming for a “brave vote” but blooming hasn’t even shared the reason for the vote yet. feels a bit like a stretch and it’s hard to know her headspace atm. weak read on her so i need to see more

bianca feels a bit disconnected from the thread. i would think town bianca would have said more at this point. she’s thrown ideas around like me and droqen distancing, and has butt heads with geoni a bit, but hasn’t pursued things further. she posts but they don’t have much weight to them rn. i also don’t think we’re gonna get much out of her this day either given she said she won’t be here at EoD

geoni is one of the more active people in this game so far, but I haven’t felt much towniness from him yet? like he asks questions and is here, but I haven’t felt much solviness or effort to form a stronger “towncrust yet”. i agree with him on the droqen TR, but i’m kinda meh on the rest of it. i hope he gets lucky tonight though

No offense Geoni, but the quote above feels like it was forcefully manufactured in a offshore factory, devoid of any unique personality dripping through the words as they are being written. Like you are trying to force yourself to come up with some sort of discussion between the two so it seems like you have nothing in common what so ever, just trying to pass yourself and damniel off as two normal townies.

So yeah I was confused on where we were but I read some old posts and it seems like geoni is going to be voted out as he stands with 2 voters and Bianca has 1 vote. I do however would like to here more from @Biancasbotique because they haven't been talking as much as everyone else.
In any case, after reading the old posts and the voting thread, I want to ask geoni and Bianca a few questions. Give me a second to get some quotes from you two as I'm curious if you have anything to say about this

In advance, this could be waaayyy off, but it's just what I see.

Also Bianca I was joking about how everyone is sus for liking Coke or Pepsi over Dr. Pepper I can certainly towncore on day 1 and that's really the best thing you can do on day 1 anyways. Gather what confidence you can find and be willing to vote in the loose day 1 process of elimination. I use towncore in a very loose sense on day 1 of course.

I'm pretty much with you on droqen and Betsy as well as I mentioned earlier.

I feel like I'm jumping the gun on a gut feeling with Catharina but for now I'm keeping them in yellow. If anything I like Catharina's most recent posts it's just the intitial interactions with Dan felt off. Speaking of which I think what I was watching in regards to Dan (I said earlier I was keeping my eye on something) is that he really seems to resist finding towniness in things and wants to stay null and it happened like twice at the time I posted that. If it still seems to be the case like...day two onward really question Dan on that because like...I want to say it's just uncertainty off the bat but if he doesn't eventually feel one way or another about something in his more accumulative reads I'd start getting suspicious. Right now he really does feel like he's on the same page as me at least in terms of PoEing. Frustrating that there's pretty much the rest of the game I feel pretty uncertain about.

When it comes to that quote in question I was wanting to figure out why Dan is saying he likes droqen's energy but can't bring himself to find towniness in it and he more or less answered it for me. I wanted to see that hunger to figure out what he doesn't know at that point, which should be everything if he's town.

I don't remember you saying something so bold and riling up the two players in the game who known to be heavy lifters on this forum as either alignment and it just felt like a different energy coming in. Also the out of game thing was a really small random thing where Dolby added you out of nowhere to a wolfchat from yeeeeears ago on discord. Was wondering if you'd been playing and wanted to look back on something and he added you for that reason. But you've more or less answered my question there. I already reacted to you saying that I was pushing a wagon on you btw Bianca.

Currently I'm in a world that I don't have nearly enough confidence about, that b100 is mafia and one of the people replacing are coming in having to push at me, one more subtly than the other. b100 definitely acting a little different here, was much more interactive last game as a townie in spite of being D1'd and I know people would feel icky about D1ing them again but mmmmmm. Given Volt made some random post about framing something I said as untrustworthy before subbing out I'm curious as to why Koopa comes in echoing distrust towards me. With Antonio it's harder to tell because he's known to just pick someone and tunnel right off the bat in the past and I would understand if he by default just finds me to be a difficult person to trust and would prefer to see bad in me before anything good.

Morning! These are my last 2, as of yesterday evening.

Spoiler: Damniel

- Neutral/slightly town
- the most posts
- the pokemaster
- vote early and often - seems to be legit spotlighting, as he is the first to take a stance (any stance, let's throw a dart and see who says ouch!)
- definitely bringing original thoughts
- questions everyone, bianca, droqen, myself, geoni...
- I don't see over distancing or over friendliness
- can come off as aggressive, but I think that's just eagerness or frustration
- gives logical reasons for everything, either up front or when questioned.
- I think town, but am keeping a bit neutral (on everyone) just in case
- I will say, seemed at one point to be really poking geoni a bit more - voted geoni right away -for the rqs alone, lol, personal dislike (not serious?), invited droqen to join geoni wagon, said geoni was "like an old family dog you have to put down" (interestingly, geoni's response said incorrect take because it would imply he's not a rabid dog - but rabid dogs get put down too, lol)...but now seems neutral on geoni, so I think this is just a proactive way of getting info

- I see geoni (I don't know why) as like a professor type, wrangling the class
- did not seem upset with early spotlight
- answers when people question him
- not really jumping on wagons, original thoughts
- so, town, right? Not so fast.... these are the things that bug me (and I could be completely wrong)
- I noticed geoni declared himself the arbiter of crustiness. It seemed less "This is who I think is town" and more "This is who can join my town". It may be just a dog herding/evaluating sheep, but it might be a very subtle way for a wolf to wear the disguise of a dog and take control of crustiness. And I noticed that several people seem to be trying to get in good with his "towncrust" - (dr pepper "simping"), which must be fake, because
- Dr. Pepper is disgusting. There is no way to defend this flaw.
- I noticed when the new players joined in and both sussed geoni, he responded to antonio with a bit more force (how could you suspect me on DAY ONE), seemed a bit out of character after being so chill with the early spotlight. This could be just aggravation at so many people sussing him, though. But he did seem heated, lol.
- possible, but unlikely dodge - when volt said he was wolfin (the *** for tat thing), geoni didn't defend or say no way, just asked if he was serious. When volt said, let's say I was (serious), geoni didn't say no way, just said bring it on... This could be nothing. Geoni may have wanted to hear the arguments first, then would have responded to them. Now volts gone, so we don't get to hear his thinking or even if it was just poking/joking.
- questioned Damniel on why droqen's vote switch felt sudden to him. I think the sudden vote switching was rather obvious, and geoni seems too intelligent to miss the obviousness, so that's either weird, or poking dan
- so mostly neutral, for now
