Part 1:

The critics are pretty harsh, and there are many movies people dont like, and some defently are my favorites:

(I edited and switched Ugly Dolls with Sucker Punch, cause I do love Sucker punch a biit more)

Sucker Punch: I love this movie! I love how different it is, how dark and deep it is. I think alot of people call it a fan service film, and well 😏 It's defently got pretty ladies, not deniying that. But the overall plot is really unique. Is it a happy movie? Nope, it's dark, very dark. But I do love my dark movies, and this one doesn't hold back.

The main girl coming from, and going into a bad life. But in very vivid imagination shes able to fight back those realities and defeat them. The rest of the cast is actually pretty solid. Finally I love the sound track. I just adore it. I also cant get over how I found merch for it at a toy store lol.
---

Runners up:

-Pixels
-Strange World (I don't get the hate, it was fun, and I like that they had a gay character.)
-The Garfield Movie 2024 (It was a weird, fun modern take)
-Wolfman (Unique point of view on a horror movie)
-Longlegs (I think people judge it too much on Nickalous Cage, and don't look at the overall picture)
-Sinister 2 (Big fan of the Sinister series)
-Neon Demon 💜🐉
-Ugly Dolls (One of my favorite movies, with a great soundtrack)
-Five Nights at Freddy's (I like the animatronics and all the calls to the fans. Plus Living Tomb Stone ♡♡)

This list will defently be expanding.

Ugly Dolls I thought was okay but I have my own ideas of how it could have been even better with a few changes to the script and plot.

Mommie Dearest- I love some of the quotes from this movie. I even made Joan Crawford eyebrows in NH and had my character hold an axe while looking angry among a bunch of flowers and in front of a tree.

I don’t think people consider it bad most of the time but I like Back To The Future 3 honestly, I’d agree that trilogy has a steady decline but I think all three are cool movies.

Tbh my answers to this are probable movies I don’t realise got negative reception : z

I know a lot of people who hate Napoleon Dynamite, but it’s one of my favorite movies lol.

Also:
—Norbit
—The Room (but only because it’s so bad it’s funny)
—Paul Blart: Mall Cop
—Ella Enchanted
—Junior
—Kindergarten Cop (Honestly, Arnold is at the top of his game when he does comedy.)
—Master of Disguise
—Nutty Professor 2
—Grown Ups 2
—Racing Stripes
—Nacho Libre
—Maid in Manhattan
—A Cinderella Story
—Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
—Jack and Jill (Don’t know why it got hated on so much…it’s just like any other Adam Sandler movie.)

Yess a fellow Racing Stripes fan! I watched it all the time as a kid! I honestly was obsessed with it. Still a strong favorite though!

Also I agree on The Room xD I do also like it just because of how funny it is.

Edited to add: Newsies and Blind.

I thought Jack and Jill was a perfectly serviceable movie. It wasn’t Citizen Kane but there are other movies far worse than it was and some are considered to be “amazing.” I mean Shakespeare in Love is truly dreadful especially because of Gwyneth Paltrow who is absolutely terrible as an actress and people love that thing somehow and it won Oscars.

I really loved the Catwomen movie with Halle Berry when I was a kid. Growing up, I found out it wasn’t well liked and has a bad Rotten Tomato/IMDb score. I can watch it many times and not know what’s not likable about it. My boyfriend doesn’t even like it…I don’t understand, it’s a great movie!! 🤣

I also wanted to add another childhood favorite…Snow Dogs! Apparently it got bad reviews but I thought it was funny and the dogs were cute.

Shrek the Third apparently. I just don't understand the hate towards it. Obviously nowhere as good as the first two but I thought it still had that Shrek charm and humor in my opinion. It also showed us Shrek came a long way in being socially accepted and having a close family.

Are they fun? I dont know many people who like them, and I'd love to hear positive opinions from someone who likes them. Sorry not even your boyfriend will watch them with you

I liked how it was the Princesses that saved the day for once using their own skills and wits. I like when media subvert the expectation that it is the Princess that saves the Prince or hero. It’s fun and lets you see some character development and also can use it as a way to have girl power without it becoming too in your face and misandristic. I just wish this subversion happened more often in any media.

Yep, I agree with this, I loved how the ladies saved them in their own ways. I don't see anything wrong about the movie, I feel like people had too many expectations for it. But I personally found it enjoyable

I'm a huge fan of James Wan's films (Dead Silence, M3GAN, The Conjuring universe, Saw films, Insidious films) but most people I talk to tend to dislike them. They tend to be slow burns and I enjoy that.

My ten-year-old cousin wanted to see M3GAN so bad. 😩 I know some of her friends saw it, at least. But since she’s into movies like Lisa Frankenstein, maybe it didn’t bother her? I find dolls creepy so I probably wouldn’t vibe with it lol.

I enjoyed Spice World and I think the people that are harsh on it forget it’s one of those movies that isn’t supposed to be taken seriously. And unlike other movies that star popular singers and bands, the Spice Girls actually had fun making the film and they aren’t embarrassed by it. KISS is so embarrassed by their tv movie that they refuse to talk about it and S Club broke up weeks after their movie came out. And Kelly Clarkson hates being reminded about To Justin from Kelly. Spice World was intentionally written to be campy and over the top and sometimes it’s fun to watch movies like that.

I really enjoyed wicked that came out this year. It was an amazing movie and I definitely recommend if you have not seen it.

John Carter(2012) was a box office bomb and received some bad reviews but I really liked it.This movie reminded me of those old school sci-fi movies from the 50's and 60's I used to watch on television when I was a kid. There are rumors of a sequel being made despite the bad press and poor box office takings.I'd go see that.

This one is more overshadowed by other Disney stuff, or left to fade into obscurity, probably because it scared some people.

Im not even quite sure what I just watched, but I'm intrigued to finally watch the full movie. It's my cousin's favorite Disney movie after all, lol, the only other clip I saw from it was the Car crushing scene and that was pretty dark. But I like this one for the spooky feel.

The music in Brave little Toaster always gave me the same feel as a Japanese animated movie called Padak! Esspecially the car crushing scene. Its just as messed up too.

The one above too.
