Before I post this, I wanna say that this is not entirely true and I made this long after I started Animal Crossing, so yeah, I probably won't stop adding parts to my fanfiction for a while.... so enjoy!
Chapter 1 - A Talking Cat
I watched as the whole world I knew around me drifted away swiftly, with an uneasy feeling in my stomach I start to wonder if this really was a good idea. I started to remind my self I'm turning over a new leaf and starting fresh. I smiled and looked at what might be my new home. Suddenly a creepy cat jumped out from the shadows! "Hi, I'm Rover!" the cat said. "What's your name?" "My name is... uh... maybe..." For some reason, I couldn't remember my name that I had used for years of studying. So I chose a new name. "How about... Brittany... or Patricia... or maybe Ella... perhaps Eve... nah... too long..." "Eve it is!" exclaimed Rover. "So, where are we heading to?" Rover said. "WHAT?! I thought you knew where we where going!" I said angrily. "Ummm... uh.... well... you see...." "Ok, fine, I'll head to... uh... maybe Mantadae? I dunno." "Mantadae it is! Is this Mantadae?" He asked while showing me a map of a town. "Hmmm... yeah... I hope so." I said doubtfully. I noticed that there were two beaches: one long one and one short one. And a recycling thingy was next to the short beach. It was all so precise! Suddenly, I also noticed that Rover was walking like a human. "Are you ok? Shouldn't you be walking on... I don't know... 4 legs?" I asked nervously. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I studied biology all my life.... and this isn't possible... for you to keep smiling like that... what's wrong with you?!" I said angrier than ever. I realized that this was super weird, so I did the only smart thing at that point--- I jumped off the train and started my hike to Mantadae. It was hot, then snowy, then rainy, and then cloudy. So after two whole months, I finally made it to the town. Right before I jumped over the train tracks, I noticed that a lot of animals (also walking on two legs) were standing at the train station expecting their mayor. 'Could I be the mayor?' I thought to myself. 'Well, I guess it's time for me to find out.' I ran to them. "IT'S OUR MAYOR!" they all exclaimed. 'Alright I guess that settles that.' I thought again. "Yep! Mayor, that's me! Reporting for duty."
