*from every angle of the area... *

I like the scattered clovers more than the squares of clovers. I would also put weeds and bushes to mix it up and give it more dimension. I think that would make it look more like your reference photo.

hmm... yeah.. i think you're right :3

when leif comes, i'll think about getting some bush starts :3

Hey that looks pretty good, I really like how cozy it looks, the top right of the map has such a great view imo, like what you’ve done with yours.

Do you plan on adding flowers to it eventually, or do you prefer the grass itself?

i think i like the grass itself... :3

it's looking good! trees can instantly make an area look cozier and more put together. I think as others have suggested, planting some shrubs/bushes and flowers in the gaps would look lovely. You could also try adding the country fence or barbed wire fence behind the trees near the cliffs. After that, you can try playing around with some furniture and maybe adding a campfire etc. good luck!

i tried to make a natural ramp here..
156050202_928616991214078_1642297766010595641_o.jpg

but it said that it wasn't straight... so i decided to move it to here..
156551987_928616997880744_5530407035088203877_o.jpg

i also moved the middle tree where it is in the screenshot above :3

where the ramp will be :3 :

and at 7:43 pm, i moved the tree on the edge in the above screenshot, over here, cause the ramp would remove it

Honestly, I think it looks pretty good so far. But I do want to echo what was said previously. Just putting in a few bushes, although I might stay away from having too many flowers. If you do any flowers, go for something like the cosmos, which are a little more "wild" looking in my point of view. Maybe the hyacinths as well. You could definitely put in weeds, and that would help a lot too - I think they're actually really nice looking, and you can keep picking them up here and there so they don't get out of control, and to keep the different stages all around there.

im a big fan of weeds for forests and more natural areas, so plant some of those and have them grow as much as they can ! id also recommend breaking your trees up a little, they seem to be in a line so try throwing them around a bit more ^^

Thank you for the weeds idea. It adds such an organic feel to what I think should be a natural aesthetic.

OP, maybe add a little fishing pond with lawn chair and fishing pole. That'd be a nice touch, too. Also, I think the bonfire is too heavy for the environment (that item is better served on the beach). Perhaps scale it back and craft a campfire. Then you can throw a log pile and some sticks around, too, to make it seem authentic.

hmm, prehaps you're right about the bonfire.. although i liked it...

log pile? do you mean leaf pile?

i'm trying to make it like the reference picture :3

Leaf pile would be cool, too. And by log pile I meant firewood, sorry. But I guess if you're trying to replicate the picture, replace the cedar trees with the regular ones (non-fruit variety), and craft at least one wild log bench. In that gathering of three trees on the right, it looks like the bench sits next to the one furthest right.
