So, I was playing some Salmon Runs today.. and I realized that there's something wrong with my right Joy-Con. Whenever I was trying to even unlock my Switch or put the Golden Eggs in the basket, sometimes the A button wouldn't register. For certain parts in the runs, I had to slam the A button and my team wasn't exactly happy with me. New Joy-Cons are expensive.. could I possibly send it to Nintendo and have them fix it? My Switch is less than a year old and I've taken amazing care of it, so I'm kinda disappointed that it's broken already. Has this happened to anyone?

I?ve never had any trouble and I?ve had my Joy Cons for well over a year now. Since yours is less than a year it should still be under warranty so I?d definitely send it in. Hopefully you have a pro controller in the meantime to use as it may take awhile before they send it back to you. At least there are a few games you can play with one Joy Con if you don?t have a Pro.

I hope you can get it fixed!

It depends. Some people have a great experience with the Joy-Cons and theirs last very long. I loved mine, but a drifting problem began and now it's hard to use them. I was going to send them to Nintendo, but many people said that Nintendo does not always notice drifting and will send it back, or if they notice it in both Joy-Cons, they'll ask for the whole Switch itself and can even wipe all the data (Since Splatoon 2 can't be backed up, this is a problem for me). In your case, it would be fine because it is only one Joy-Con, so you should be fine! But just know that it most likely is not your fault; some Joy-Cons are just fragile and intense game play could probably wear them down. That's why I'm buying a new pair of Joy-Cons for Handheld mode only, and a Pro-Controller for when I'm at home, so that I can lessen the wear-and-tear.
