Remember when I had that manager idea? Well I haven't forgot about that and it's still in the back of my head. I just haven't found the right time to implement it.
Anyway I have kind of a similar idea for getting specific things done here. We kind of did it for a little bit on the old TBT, too. What if we have groups that help with specific areas of things? We'll call them committees. So if you're in the committee that works on the style of TBT, you might make different skies that we can use in the background, etc. With the manager idea it was hard for me to pick someone who should be in charge because no one person had vastly more skills than the others. Of course with a group, I would still be implementing everything- in other words, no one would get to edit things directly in the Shop, etc. So it would be less direct and it's not really a "staff" position, but it's more inclusive and team-oriented.
