It reminds me so much of Animal crossing on the clock aspect and the fact that i can talk to the townsfolk, and you can explore dungeons and collect materials and craft and build items as well as decorate your house and the town is so big, apparently it's released on PC and will be released soon on Switch/PS4/Xbox this spring! Anyone looking for forward to playing it on the switch?!?!

You can also make friends and even marry and have kids! (lol), also there is a farming and cooking system and museum as well where you can fill and decorate :) and holidays just like new leaf!

Here's the IGN's review of the game:

Yes, I have followed them on social media maybe a year? My computer cannot run it, so I'm waiting for release for Switch. :)

I've been following the game for years! I'm waiting for the switch release :lemon:

It looks fun. I'm not too fond of the character designs but the open world looks cool. I'm waiting for it to come out on Switch.

It seems like a game I would love in theory, but there's something about it that just doesn't click with me. Maybe it's the character designs or just the dull looking visuals in generals. I'm not gonna write it off just yet though. It looks to have potential.

It seems like a game I would like as well, although I’m kind of iffy on the graphics.

I’ve been hearing that apparently they aren’t willing to pay their voice actors for their work, though...? I know there’s been some back and forth about that, so I’m not sure who to believe.

Ah yes there have been an issue going on about that but it has been resolved (for real) :), I do agree about the graphic but it looks cute, i'm def going to get the PS4 version if i don't buy the switch :)

yeah, i've had my eye on it for ages now, wish they'd announce the switch release date but hopefully it won't be long, for sure buying it as soon as its out

My Time At Portia Releases on Nintendo Switch April 16th!

Anyone else excited the the indie game my Time at Portia coming to the Nintendo switch? I?m super hyped for it. It?s already out for PC and will also be releasing for Xbox and PlayStation on the same day as Switch. If you?re just hearing about it now here?s the most recent trailer if you?d like to know more:

Did you play in docked or handheld mode? I usually only play in handheld, so i'm hoping the game can be played fully that way.

Ooh I'm going to check out Justin's video later when I get home. I've been waiting for this! Although if it really has performance issues, I'll just get it on another platform. I hope that's not the case though!

I was actually super excited when it was announced but after seeing a bunch of gameplay on youtube, I think there are a couple of deal breakers for me. Like the loading times, framerate issues, patchy graphics/rendering and lack of voice overs. Reallllly hope there's a patch. Was skeptical when I saw on the eshop that it's only 2GB.

I'm 100% gonna cave in and pre-purchase it

My recording was in docked mode and I've only played that way so far, but I'll test some handheld soon to see if there's any difference.

I'm told there will be a fairly major patch 2-3 weeks after launch including some fixes but it's not clear exactly what it will fix. It's a content update too bringing it up to the PC version's content.

Has anyone played My Time At Portia?

It's a 3D sandbox game like Stardew Valley and the Harvest Moon series, where you can grow crops, raise animals, craft and build relationships with other citizens. Currently it's available on the PS4, Xbox and PC but is also planned for release on the Switch. Has anyone played this game or planning to get it for the Switch?
