My two cents

-2. Worse? 12 posts in 24 hours? I think you're making it worse by anknowledging it. I beleive I noticed one day a couple years back where 3 posts were made in 24 hours. I'd say it slowly improved comparing those 2 facts.

-1. I understand you experienced this but there are 2 things that differ the situations. One, you are not Storm who is in college and Secondly this is tbt. You may have already known this. After all, you made threads regarding this. In my opinion the more you state this whole I run TNZ thing and make threads that suggest something. You're technically comparing this forum to the alive TNZ. Thus giving the idea to me (I know you do not intend to) that TNZ is better than this place and that you want it to be "like your own forum". It resonates that idea to me no matter how you say that you don't mean to (which I'm aware of). Notice how you said you experienced this on that post again? I'm not accusing you, I'm just letting you know how I sometimes feel everytime you post a suggestion thread.

1. I'd feel a bit depressed if those 2 where to lose their positions if they wanted to keep them. Darth does the little things that go unnoticed sometimes and I think that part of your post may have caused:

If you are going to take that as a good thing you are reaching for nothing which is what apparently seems to be done by everyone right now. Unfortunately people feel that if they have to do anything of something they will have to drop everything.

That's great that you feel. Sometimes I feel too. However, posting credentials to further back up your posts is important. It's not like she doesn't know this forum (or I for that matter) as we have been here since the start and have remained (sometimes off and on) till now.

Darth said he isn't doing much of the staff. And again, if you are using Darth being on at the same time as you as an example you're reaching and holding on to nothing.
All IslandGuy is trying to do is say TBT can still be fixed, and instead of arguing against it, why not help with the cause he believes in?

Because I left TBT a while ago (I'm visiting right now, not returning).

It's funny because I come back to see the same boards, the same staff, the same features, and the same dying forum. Preaching about being nice and positive does what? Deludes the problem at hand?

If you want members to come back and come here change things that push them away. I've said them so many times over my tenure here you should know them by now.

And many things have changed at TBT... some for the better, some for the worse... obviously, lately, a lot of the changes have been for the latter. The funny thing is, some people who have been here for a really long time haven't changed one bit. ;)

First, I know Storm is in college. Hence why my first suggestion was getting other staff members who can help out.

Second, I know this is a different forum. I'm not comparing the two forums, I'm comparing the situation TBT is in to the situation TNZ used to be in. I don't want it to be "like my own forum", I never implied that. And if you read my suggestions, you would see that they weren't trying to make it anything like TNZ. Let's go down the list:

1- This was completely irrelevant to TNZ.
2- Same as above
3- A common technique that every forum does for activity
4- Completely irrelevant to TNZ
5- TNZ may have this, but I know TBT used to have one too. I was merely suggesting to start it up again.
6- Also a common forum technique
7- sure, TNZ did this, but a lot of forums have too. And I didn't even suggest to make them like TNZ's at all.

I think you guys get a little too touchy every time I make a suggestion.

@ Darth

I think of all the people here, I've changed the most. :p

I've been here for a long time, and TBT is what changed me from noob to lovable forum veteran. But for the time you've been gone, yeah, I don't think I've changed much.

And so it starts...or ends..

You are repeating yourself over things I'm aware of. I was just simply stating how I sometimes felt over it. You also didn't have to go from 1-7, I only spoke back to 2 (I barely disagreed with the newsletter one and the confusing one =\)of them and agreed/apreciated the rest. And also, I only involved the whole TNZ thing to one of the suggestions I was replying to.

If you read what I posted up there days ago carefully, I said I was aware that you don't intend to make this your own forum.
