Rory the jock and either plucky, Muffy, Agnes!! I get overly attached to my Uchi villagers

i have a feeling that it's a coincidence. if it's not, then i would probably go for teddy or bam for jock. mira, frita, deirdre, or ursala for uchi!

this might be a limitation specifically for the promotional demo version so that there's always a male and female villager to show off

then to that respect i feel like uchi and jock are a very strange choice, because uchi has the least female villagers of any female personality type. peppy would make more sense. there are 44 peppies and only 23 uchis.

If this is true.

Jock: Bam, Poncho, (can't remember more I like and I don't wanna look lol)
Uchi; Fuchsia, Deirdre, Renee

I'd be fine if this is actually the case.

For people who don't like many of the existing Uchis or Jocks... don't forget some of the new villagers will almost positively fall into those types.

The new sheep is likely a Jock and I personally really hope the new horse is Uchi. If we are locked into starting with these two types, just try to keep an open mind. Also, the dialogue will be different and the renders are amazing, so you might unexpectedly grow attached to a villager you never thought you would.

If I could choose I'd really like the new horse if she's Uchi, or Agnes. And for my Jock I'd like Rod or Hamlet, or maybe Bill. I like the small, cute Jocks because it makes their personality feel ironic and funny.

The new article posted by GamesRadar has, you guessed it, a new Jock and Uchi pair : Genji and Flo.

Well that article says that the new sheep and pashmina was a starting villager set and I seriously doubt that pink and white fluffy sheep is a jock but we will have to see.

Honestly I think they just set it for jock and Uchi for their demo copies just so that they could have a boy and girl present for equal representation.

I wouldn't mind if it was Teddy.
Teddy and Cherry.

I want that new horse to be peppy.

Why? Just by their face I actually thought they looked more like a male, and in Japan pink/red isn’t tied to females the way it is in the West. The shirt would fit just fine with a jock too, imo. But we’ll see, I guess.

you?re telling me that sheep might be a jock? o-0

why not a jock? here are a couple other villagers that dont strike me as "jock:"

200
95

honestly, i think it's very likely the new sheep villager is a jock. it struck me as looking male when i first saw it and dont think its that outlandish it could be a jock. it seems a bit far fetched the only "confirmation" that the uchi/jock rule is false is from a situation with a villager whose personality we're not aware of. the sheep is likely a jock, too.

At first I thought the sheep was a female, but now that I think about it, I can definitely see him being male.

110% believe he's a Jock.

the new red elephant also screams "jock!" to me.

I can't remember who pointed this out in another thread (sorry!), but I would say it's definite proof that the sheep is male.

When he is seen at a birthday party he is wearing a suit, while the two female villagers are wearing dresses. At another birthday party, there is another male villager wearing the suit, while the two females wear dresses.
