Sorry if I am asking the obvious...does this mean once I speak to him, return to my town, Marshal will have a house plot ready to move in tomorrow? I have also heard that amiibo villagers don’t tend to move away, does this still apply to amiibo villagers that are in a different town?

I don’t think so for me 4am morning and I will be sleeping. I am in CET time zone. Sorry do you have other time you like?
Once you talk to him, he will move to your town next day.

I am using amiibo all the time and almost every day but villagers are moving away and not easy to control them. I feel same if I don’t use amiibo or not.
