New to game - Iron Nuggets?

only had game for three days, never visited anyone’s island. GF and I got this for quarantine but don’t have enough iron nuggets for shop. Any tips? Every time I try alto visit someone’s island it says they’re in airplane mode. Any help/friends appreciated.

Hit rocks. To visit you need a dodo. Code. Or to be friends in game. Or do nook miles trips and hit rocks. Hope this helps.

If you dig 3 holes in a line behind you before hitting the rocks, it’ll prevent you from getting knocked back so you’ll be able to hit the rock 9 times! Don’t eat fruits and you’ll be able to do it for each rock on your island!
