New Update?

So just right now I was playing my ACNH for about 15 or so minutes, and then closed out to check something. When I went to go back to the game, I got a pop-up telling me that a new update was available for download. Does anyone happen to know what this update is about?

Appears to just be a server maintenance, likely to deal with the increase load considering how well ACNH sold.

I'm not sure, but I just updated. Maybe it's an attempt to fix various bugs people are experiencing?

I am pretty sure that the server maintenance is tied to the update, because they happened at the same time.

The maintenance is over now.

They patched the duping glitch to my knowledge and has been tested, from what I heard. So there's a possibility of slight normality coming back to the IGB trading.

Royal crowns and crowns will probably have a ban lift soon.

Yeah, I'm fine with people doing whatever in their own file. But when you're using the bells and crowns to trade and stuff? It just ruins everything imo.

Appears to only be duplication, they're likely unaware of the villager plot issue going on still.

SO happy that the dupe glitch is gone.. the one thing i do consider "cheating" in animal crossing is duping items.

im happy the glitch is gone. i know someone who did it and it’s not fun having tons of money when you didn’t grind for it, there isn’t much to do and ruins the game

it seems they’ve patched the duping glitch - it doesn’t really matter to me but it’s kinda nice that it’s not a thing anymore lmao
