Nintendo DS Lite crashes

I just played a game on my DS for maybe half an hour and it crashed. Is that normal?

Could you be more specific? Describe what game, what you were doing when it crashed, and what the crash looked like?

The answer, I gather, is typically no. But it's not something I would worry too much about unless it starts happening more often.

It only happened once so far, I was playing Animal Crossing and the crash happened while I was fishing. The screen froze.

Usually when this happens randomly it means the game stopped being read. Either the game slot or the game itself may be dirty or wearing out. Happens to me very often, actually.

I agree! Mine was a little messed up and it wouldnt read Mario Party DS so I got this nice person in my area to fixed the slot!!
