i really sat here and watched that whole video despite knowing exactly what would be in it and what it would look like lol.

people have been pointing this out elsewhere since it dropped, but that was a very big reaction to the message in a bottle graphic on the back of the switch from the female host. it even sounds a little bit like they cut her off before she could say too much.

i was wondering about the lack of mail icons (despite mailboxes being present) in the inventory. what if they totally revamped messages in a bottle as special mail? attach presents like in wild world, use the touch screen to draw pictures, get and send letters to random strangers via online communications, literally write out a signature on your switch.... it probably won't happen but i'm hoping that means we're getting some excitin news about the message in a bottle. i miss it a lot.

Hah. Totally understand. I've got a Neon Switch at home, and a Gray Switch my students pitched in to buy me sitting in my classroom. I guess me not watching the video was partially because of that. But I'm also sure I'll totally geek out on 3/13 when I bring my baby home from Best Buy.

Yay! Nice to see it in a video. I was really hoping the colours would be soft pastel, and it looks like I might be lucky. Although when the girl said it was more vibrant than on the box that immediately put me off a little.. I just really like my pastel 2DS XL, so I was hoping the colour would be more in that trend.. It does look so pretty though! I like the colour combination of the blue and green, especially with the cute matching wristbands. I like those kinds of little details!

I just don't really like the docking station for some reason. I would have much rather had the embossed pattern on it, but perhaps with some colour. Like in the small advert.. I would even consider getting a cute patterned decal to go over top.

I wish I could see it in person before committing! But I'm so scared it might be sold out here if not bought in pre-order.

That girl's face is a little distractingly shiny wow... she has a cute AC necklace though! Those colors are really lovely. I have the Berry Blue PS4 controller so I definitely want these. I'm glad companies are getting more colorful with their peripherals

Yeah I was surprised they looked a little... neonish. Switch stuff does tend to look a little more washed out in promo pics than in real life. I can't wait to read people's impressions in mid-March.

I normally don't watch unboxing videos, but I watched this one. It looks GORGEOUS and I'm so happy I waited. I can't wait to get it and unbox it myself.

We got it from Best Buy - I wonder when I can pick it up...it comes out on 3/13 (spooky), but I don't know my schedule for that day yet, or my boyfriend's (its under his name).

I seriously never clicked on a video so fast when I got the notif for the video. It was really funny when they smelled the console but I don't blame them at all. I would too if I were them.
