when I was following the thread, everyone was leaning towards voting Uttumori, and I didn't have any concrete evidence to support wanting to vote nightmares, if I had spoken up I would've sounded completely not credible

whats been said is said. So what do you want, to send me to the gallows for not saying something rather than address that you did try to lead a vote for uttumori and try to defend a person revealed to be mafia?

During the N2 vote I was actively trying to work out what stage of the game we were at numbers wise, and whether voting at all was in our interests. I specifically explained my thinking on the three named players, and my conclusion to vote for Uttumori was predicated on the process of elimination. I could have voted for her then and there, or made sure to come back before EoN to vote and try to sway things - I did not, because I am not mafia.

Furthermore, exactly *why* would I defend Lani if I knew she was mafia because I am, too? I haven't played as mafia yet aside from that first one I played which was a cultist game (and I was coverted near the very end), but I am well aware that defending teammates is a scumtell.

I think if you'd actually thought I was mafia you would have called me out. I also think you know very well - better than any other player currently in the game except Jacob - that I will defend a player if I see reason to, regardless of how guilty they may appear to the majority of players. I was right with you in the cultist game. I was wrong with Lani. I accept that I was wrong, she got me. But I won't apologise for believing her to be Town at the points in question, nor for defending her.

because the conversation at the time was going in circles and was very vague, so I wanted to shake the scene up.
If I was on a team with nightmares why the heck would I put my teammate in that situation to answer a question like that unless I was feeding her the answer to give afterwards (read her posts and didn't seem different from her normally), which even then would be markedly different.

OK, sorry I'm gonna edit in a correction post and will post my real vote after. I got some good evidence for one thing I don't know if anyone has talked about... but the way I see it. We got a 50/50 chance to end this today. Because there is only two logical votes for today (note this is from my perspective, and people will probably still find me sus, but hopefully i work I'm putting into this helps you see I was just poor town inactive)

The thing is, I know you know the differences in buffing and risks of standing up for a scummate, and with the situation we had why try to risk your position in the game for something so low perceived benefits. If you had succeeded in not getting Nightmares lynched that night, we would?ve just done it the next day.

I see where you are coming from, and respectfully disagree. That's not how I read her post at all.

1 - explained what she's doing (a random vote) and why (lack of real leads and hope of generating them from the vote and potentially the lynch).

2 - explained why she chose Uttumori out of all the players, instead of a purely random vote. Whilst the reasoning is flimsy, and not worth a vote (in this game especially) in and of itself, that is a good reason to say your vote is "random". She then volunteered her reasoning for what bothered her about the questioning of Luca, and her own take on his post.

3 - explained there's a high chance Uttumori is Town, but that the vote - and possible lynch - will generate info to work with. The reference to wanting to see a reaction doesn't necessarily mean she expects one from Uttumori, nor does the vote mean Lani wants to see her actually lynched.

Those points, taken seperately and together in context, make sense to me. Is it the reading I would make, or the decision, or the wording I would personally use? Nope. But I see no logical disconnect within her post.

I am not saying she IS Town, or anything about you, Uttumori. Just that I interpret this post very differently. No idea if I'm on the right track or not, only time will tell lol.

I don't know if this just beginner tunneling (focussing on a player/s who have aimed the FOS - finger of suspicion - at you) or not. It could well be. But Uttumori is now my top candidate for lynching in the absence of new info.

Also when Zendel let his role slip, you were first to make a big deal about it. If it was me, I would?ve kept that on the DL and try not to bring attention to it, even if Zendel was aware about it or not. You definitely know that even outted Town are a threat to mafia too, and so its funny how Zendel ended up dead that next night. Even if you aren?t mafia, for future, just keep that info to yourself.

Mafia players are told who their fellow mafia (sages here) are at the start of the game. In standard games on TBT they are given a QuickTopic thread link that the GM hosts for mafia chat. This game is a bit different in that respect, but I believe mafia are still told who the other mafia are - they just get to choose how and where they want to chat to coordinate.

I implore others to go look at the difference in her threads at times.

Not sure why it's sketchy. I did it because Corrie had the most votes and my philosophy as was discussed in the previous game is that I think a no lynch is silly. I'd rather have a mislynch than not have any new information.

Which I?m pretty sure Corrie was going to be lynched anyway, so I don?t know why you felt the need to vote her more? also you answered my question with just a strange reasoning. You could?ve said I didn?t want to be modkilled first (rather than in your next post) for your vote and went with the one already getting lynched, but you felt the need to really try to make yourself look town. Seemed a little panicked.

Also, why am I so suspect, but Toad and Zendel aren't? They voted for Corrie, too. If anyone should be suspect out of the three of us, it should be Toad who voted for Corrie and then castigated me for doing the same. That kind of hypocrisy seems awfully suspicious to me.

Personally, at the moment I'm most suspect of Ness and Toad, and I'm leaning Toad. Ness may just be an aggressive player, but Toad is being a hypocrite, which makes me really suspect.

The way I see it, the last sage (hopefully its just one) is Amanda or Primarina. Amanda?s most recent posts seem akin to her town play and she has shown more opinion than Primarina has throughout the game, so I?m more inclined to vote for Primarina now. I am gonna go look at games where Amanda has been mafia and town to refresh myself before rushing into another vote.

Sorry if I seemed tunnely just now with Amanda, but I needed some convo to help me figure out my view on her... not counting her out especially with Zendel's information, but looking at the posts now, this is where my mind goes
