So, dunno if anybody is in the same boat right now, but my last scheduled 'move out' should've taken place mid last week, but nobody has asked. I'm 100% on top of my move out schedule so I know I haven't mistaken how long it has been since the last one.

Is it because I moved the Sanrio villagers in? Do they take longer to ping you like they did in NL? I tried Googling this but came up with hardly any information.

Is there anyone with a birthday in the 5 days before or after now?
This removes them from the pool.

It also resets the counter if you say no to anyone

Sometimes Time travel can mess up that schedule. Esspecially if you time travel for some days, and then go back. You make the game confused by going back, then ypu need to move fprward one day, and it will remember

If you ordered a package, then jumped back three days, it won't arrive, but if you move forward one day, then it will show up. Same goes for the bubble

So even if your on track, time travel can mess with that schedule. If ypu really want someone to leave, skip two-three months. Or two years, someone will always want to leave.

I don't reccomend skipping years, because there is alot to concider. Remember birthdays, and holidays when you do.

Also, if they're indoors, they won't have the bubble, even if they're the one to move that day.
Thats why 1pm is the best time to try as they're more likely to be outside

No it's none of these scenarios. I'm comfortable saying I'm a pro moving villagers in/out. I get thought bubbles but they're never to move. I haven't rejected anyone either.

I haven't TTd in ages because kiwikenobi and I are experimenting with amiibo logs (ie how many the game can remember) so I've purposely avoided doing so as not to ruin the experiment.

Ignore my previous posts. Thats a good experiment

Im thinking that your villagers are just way too happy with you, and they don't want to leave. Ive had Kid Cat, and Marshal since the beginning, and they have never asked to leave

If theres someone specific you want gone, try isolating them, then talk to everyone else but them. It makes them feel ignored, and more likily to move.

Lazy and normal villagers are more likily to move, while other personalities take longer.

It takes 15 days for a villager to have a move out thought bubble and it must not be on Saturday. If a villager recently moved out or moved in the move out counter gets restarted. Also if you recently told someone to stay put the move out bubble will reappear in 5 days.

Sadly I don't think it's this either. My last move out was Paolo...and I'd have to go digging through my posts to see when that was...unless @WaileaNoRei remembers when he was adopted...

Well sometimes the game can be tricky with its RNG on how it picks villagers to move out. Usually if events like birthdays happen and the villager you want to move out is at their party then the move out counter gets restarted and if there is a current event happening like for example Bug Off then the move out bubble will not appear on that day.

Its confusing at times because when I was trying to kick out Dobie last year he didn't want to leave at all. The thought bubble kept going on villagers that I didn't want to move out. After like 20 tries of time traveling he finally thinking of moving out. Its the RNG thats the issue here.

I adopted paolo on April 30th! But do amiibo move outs effect the move out bubble? In my experience, the normal campsite move ins do not. But not sure about amiibos.

Yeah that's the thing. They never used to...I"m wondering if they now do...because my last NATURAL move out was Goose and he was easily about a week before Paolo.

Well no because last year when I used an amiibo to kick out Fang, the next day when Fang moved out, Marshal was asking me that he was thinking of moving out. So its like I had a villager move in and I had one move out on the same time. Its so weird. I assume that amiibos don't affect the move out time, its only when you talk to the villager who is thinking of moving but you told them to stay here that affects the move out process.

Maybe the amiibo villagers, and so ones you ontain naturally follow their own track.

So its not the same amount of time, but different amounts of time for either amiibo or those that naturally move in
--
Say you've had fifteen days, and maybe a natural villager is requesting to leave. But in the next fifteen of you new amiibo friend, its fifteen days for them specifically

If that makes sense

oh perfect, this is exactly what I was wondering! I rarely use amiibos so I was not sure, but this is the same as for normal campers, which makes sense. Thank you!:giggle:

oh interesting ☹️. I hope it is not a new change. I like having the flexibility of being able to have the move out bubble constantly moving so that it will sooner or later hit on a villager I can bear to let go.

Any amiibo move in does not affect the move out counter. Although any amiibo move in can be affected by it
I'm not sure at what point they are okay to move out, but if you move someone in by amiibo, it does not change the counter for someone asking to move out.
So its totally safe to do if you want to

Edit: whoops @RoxasFan20 I meant to quote you too

I've been getting fewer thought bubbles during my current move-out cycle as well, to the point where I have to actively make a point to load up the game several times a day just to have a chance at catching who the bubble has landed on. I eventually end up finding it most days, but I have to go out of my way. It's possible that you're just not seeing your daily mover outside and not doing some other hobby that's overwriting their bubble potential.

Oh yeah that one is also annoying. Sometimes the villager that you want to move out is inside their home or they are somewhere else where the thought bubble doesn't get shown. I recommend trying in the Afternoon around 2:26 PM because that is the time I think most villagers are usually out of their home doing their thing and its the most common chance you will have looking for the right villager that has the thought bubble.

I don't TT and I actually play with my villagers even if I don't want to keep them, so my problem is that my thought bubbles can be - and often are - anything. In the past, I'd usually get a bubble every half hour or so when it was move-out time, but now I only get one per load up of the game (and that's assuming I don't get a ping) and most of the time it's something inane like a nickname or asking for a fish.

Well without time travel it will make it harder to wait on a certain villager you really don't like to move out. Trust me the RNG in this game is very bad with how it picks whatever villager to move out.

Sadly not this scenario either. I play both day and night daily, so I always encounter every villager outside at least once per day. They are getting thought bubbles, it's just never to move. Today for example, the thought bubble (not the ones you encounter AFTER talking to a villager, those are never to move) was to do a treasure hunt...and yesterdays was to change a catchphrase.

The move out thought bubble *should* be above a villager as soon as you boot up (if you're within move-out timeframe), but it has all been games and requests.
