(tried looking for the suggestion thread, maybe i'm blind idk)

Making another subforum in the TBT marketplace for various other games? It makes sense since theres the museum shop to buy/sell art for tbt.. so, yeah.
Idk the tbt marketplace always seems crowded with pokemon/FR related things to sell/buy for tbt, so others who have ACNL shops/selling threads.. then the others who are looking to buy/sell collectibles it all seems too mixed in D:

Or is it just me that thinks so?

no i think so too. i think there should be a section for pokemon/fr selling so there can be less clutter. and the animal crossing stuff can be on its own

I agree. I only care about Animal Crossing items and TBT collectibles. It would be easier for everyone if everything wasn't jumbled together.

I agree I'm only looking for animal crossing items and TBT items. And it would be nice if TBT had subforums for each game in the TBT Marketplace.

I definitely agree, since many people (including me) who aren't interested in stuff from other games end up having to dig through all of the threads just to find ones that are of interest. Maybe separate it into three sections: AC:NL stuff, TBT collectibles (and site stuff), and things from other games. That way, no one has to dig through extra pages of the marketplace just to find something they want.

Ah good, glad I'm not the only one who thinks so xD
Even if there was just an "other games" subforum, I think it would be enough to "clean up" the tbt marketplace, because there aren't -too many- of the collectible and ACNL-related threads combined.

Would you be referring to something like this? If so, while I've personally supported it for a while, it has fallen out of the spotlight for a while now. So if you can show a need for this (or something similar), it is definitely something that can be brought back into discussion (note that although a lot of this discussion would take place between staff, it's still worth bringing up).

I don't see how there's nearly enough volume of these "other games" threads to warrant a board. As for Animal Crossing, see what Murray said. That's always a possibility.

What if you were to make a board for selling gaming things only? TBT Marketplace usually sells things like collectibles or various AC:NL items. There are plenty of Flight Rising and Pokemon shops that seem to gain a lot of attention, so making a board like the Museum Shop to where its seperate from the regular TBT marketplace. I think thats what the OP meant.

Yes thank you~ that's exactly what I meant xD. Not like an entire sub-forum, but one like the museum shop.

Also I've checked out that sticky before, but I wasn't sure if it was still active, or if posting in it would really effect anything.

there has been an inordinate amount of pokemon threads on the TBT Marketplace board of late, sometimes ~30% of threads on page 1, fwtw...

Not sure why people are complaining saying there's a large amount of Pokemon (and gaming related) threads when there clearly isn't?
I've only just got back into using the TBT Marketplace to buy Pokemon, and a few weeks ago just before I started up again, I saw someone else suggest this, which was essentially the reason I went back to buying Pokemon, because there were "a lot of Pokemon threads". Then I go look in the Marketplace and there's barely any, so not gonna lie, major disappointment there. Yes, there are some, but it's no where near enough to be clogging up the entire Marketplace and "hiding" the animal crossing threads as people are claiming.

Go through the first 10 pages, which are the "relevant" threads made in the last 2 weeks. There's like an abundance on the first page (TWO of those being Jav's giveaway so they don't count) but they die down the further you go into the board. The way everyone's been talking here is like every second or third thread is Pokemon/Gaming/Non-AC related.

I don't think there's the slightest need to need to make a board to separate AC/collectibles from other games IMO. If there was like 3 of 4 entire pages worth within the first 10 pages, then I'd say yes, but considering you'd be lucky to get even 2 (honestly, you'd be pushing it to even make 1 page worth) if you were to do that, there's no need for yet another sub.

And just for the record, the Museum Shop sub was created because shops were clogging up The Museum - taking away from it's "original roots" - not because all the art threads were clogging up the TBT Marketplace. There's no reason to use the Museum Shop as a means of "justification" because the Pokemon threads aren't taking away what the board was originally meant to be for, it was always meant to be for selling/buying stuff with TBT bells, and that's exactly what the threads are doing.

This sounds great! It would be way way more organised instead of every kind of post mingled together...
