I still think we could make a nub game work if it wasn't too daunting...

Maybe something from a franchise with some charm to it would make a good Nub Game, i had people tell me that they wanted to join the Smash mafia because they liked the franchise.

Attracting people to join is easy, but having them be active is another thing. Sure people can invite friends, but it doesn't always work out(cough cough). If someone wanted to play, they'll join, I don't think a nub game would do much to bring players who will actually play and not just forget they were even in the game.

In my first game I wanted to join, even though I was really anxious about it/didn't know anything about it. Plus i liked Dragon Age so that also went into the pot. Haydenn joined mafia because he liked Smash Brothers.

So if that can happen to me then i'm pretty sure theres some people out there who will join

We've had a lot of newb mafias before and the problem that arises with them is inactivity. They're not bad initiatives, per say, but that often prevents a decent amount of experience. I miss being a coach it helps you form/confirm objective strategies for how to play when you give advice.

I've only recently started playing on Mafia Scum, and apparently its in the contract before you sign up that you're not supposed to fake IRL things to gain any sort of advantage.

i didn't know at the time i was playing Cultists, but if I did that on Mafia Scum I could have been banned.
