I actually got a really good idea for a mafia game that uses a items as a key factor.

Alright, so imagine if there were 2 roles in the game called "Business men" or something like that, they know who they are but they kinda work as a team(and are also 3rd party roles with the same wincon as a survivor). So, they're able to cause basically chaos by hiring someone at night to kill someone.

Every player will start off with about 100-500 dollars, and are able to buy items from the shop that give them a special ability.

There are only a few blue roles, but the main game changer is the shop. You're able to buy items at the shop with the money you have, you can get items like say, a first aid kit to act as a doctor for one night, or you can buy a "detective kit" to investigate someone, Telescope to watch a player for the night, and so on so forth.

The business men wouldn't PM them but PM the host(me) that if they were to "kill this guy", they would receive money to buy items with. You're able to receive money each night regardless if a business man told you to, you just receive more money if you do what the business man told you to do.

There would also be about 3-5 Survivors depending on player count, so if a business man told them to kill someone, it wouldn't make them at risk of killing someone like a towns member.

That's basically a set-up i thought about, I think I could make it a game one day, what do you think?

Also I don't really like calling them "Business men" but its all I could think of.

It sounds too chaotic and too confusing, not really fond of the idea.

Maybe I could add mafia in and only 1 Business man?

I don't know, imagine if a business man died, then a survivor would become the new business man. I could boil it down into a simpler explanation, but i'm lazy :p

I think i'd need a player count of above 20 for it to work though...
