Nah, but more power to ya. I skipped City Folk because the Wii wasn't my kind of console, but New Horizon has been given me some Wild World feels which I appreciate. But I can see how some people don't like the Switch, especially older and disabled folk who solely play Animal Crossing. The regular Switch is a lot heavier (and wider) than every DS was, at least this has the stationary option but I understand how this is not doable for them.

This will be the first Animal Crossing game that I'll get on release day, but that's mostly due to my age. I'm looking forward to a new kind of experience when it comes to Animal Crossing, my only worry is that the graphics are a little bit too saturated tbh, but as far as smooth 3D graphics go it looks pretty nice. It's probably the only upcoming game that really excites me. It just looks so nice.

The Switch is 10.48 ounces. The DS was 9.70 ounches. Switch Lite is 9.77 ounces.

It's not *that* heavy

I still wanna buy it, but there's a chance i won't be getting it because i need my parents approval to allow me to buy the Switch. I started playing New Leaf in 2019 too but that doesn't really stop me from buying ACNH

I'm getting it for sure ! I can see why you aren't for a while, though.
