After you decorate the house of a villager on your island, they no longer place clothing on the floor that you give them. I think that's pretty cool. I've been giving Shino lots of kimonos and other Japanese clothing. She would have placed at least one on the floor by now.

That and Wardell's catalogue.

For me it is the exterior decorating feature. I remember back when there was a glitch where the exterior of the previous villager on the lot would remain for the future move-ins and what a gamechanger it was. Sadly I couldn't exploit it because my amiibo cards for the villagers i needed came after they updated and patched it. So now I get to have the villagers I want with exteriors to match my town's theme. It is so great, it makes me so happy that now everything can match.

And like you said, Wardell's catalogue is really useful, I can now order ten things a day instead of just the 5

Redecorating villager homes has been something I wanted forever. Just changing Merry’s wallpaper was so satisfying. It’s been bugging me since NL.

It's Nico, he's not necessarily a feature, but he is worth it and deserves a mention. I do enjoy the use of Pillars/Walls as well, so many ideas to use them for.

Being able to purchase items that you decorate homes with. My catalogue isn't as fleshed out as it used to be but now there are so many things I can buy from Wardell so I'm definitely having less issues getting the furniture I need!

The doors are custom patterns for the Glow-in-the-Dark Stickers.

The creator code is: MA-2668-7936-2620

The plain window panes on the beach wallpaper is from creator MA-1911-9530-2484

You just customize the stickers with these patterns, then stick them on the wall.

For me it’s the gyroids! One could argue that it’s only a small feature, but it’s what made me most excited. I love their designs and sounds so much - it brings me a lot of joy to collect them and line them up in my room with some music on.

I’m also blown away by all the added items and decorating ideas. So much so that I haven’t touched that aspect yet because I feel rather overwhelmed with possibilities

the gyroids! i was so excited to see them return! and i'm loving all the glowing moss stuff, i've been collecting it and scattering some around the back of my island for an enchanted forest theme.
