• Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.

On your opinion, what's the best feature of the DLC?

The fact that you can customise your villager's exteriors and interiors! And Wardell's catalog! So many islanders with empty houses because I'm over here stockpiling poki for my extra item ordering needs 😂 (I'll get back to them soon).

Not really a feature, but I just love the DLC "storyline" if you can call it that. This is probably the first time in all the AC games I've played that I've actually cared about the NPCs lol.

I know lots of people will mention things like decorating and cataloguing and stuff, but for me the biggest thing about the DLC is the gameplay of the DLC itself. New Horizons doesn’t really have much in the way of things to just do like mini-games or jobs, any sort of content to treat as a grind where you can really binge out on the game for hours at a time without having to time travel. The game with the DLC finally has a reason now where I can boot it up and play the game non-stop for an entire afternoon on a slow day.

literally just being able to redesign my villagers homes has been a godsend. especially being able to change lolly's, whose house was absolutely hideous :(

I love how we have more decorating features. I feel inclined to mention the amazing addition of the cactuses. They were long overdue and I think cactuses were necessary. Prior to the DLC, the only cactus item we had was the mini cactus set, which was merely a houseplant.

Villager home renovation. The fear of destroying my villager's interiors is no more. Also, I can finally give their homes the designs I have long since envisioned.

I’m finding the Room Sketch app from HHP really useful. It’s like Harvey’s island but way better since you can access it anywhere and adjust room size. Also of course Wardell’s catalogue is a super useful addition too.

I love Wardell's catalogue, I love the new DIY recipes that you can get from there, and I love the new counters/pillars that you can make and add onto your house. Honestly I just love all the new additions you can do to your house with lighting. I love too much!!

All the new items... the ranch set especially... and being able to redesign villager homes inside and outside is the best!
Designing homes in HHP is pretty fun, but being able to design our villagers homes on our island is next level.

Personally, I was just excited for the new items. I knew HHP would turn out like HHD which was design a few places and then get really boring. It got boring for me within the first week or so (and I do love decorating games and stuff like that). But the best part of the DLC for me, aside from the new items, has to be ordering additional 5 items a day from Wardell and all the vine and moss you can gather often on the island.

also, I'm just specifically talking about the island itself / what you can do on the island ♡

Just having more furniture and DIY’s that can now elevate our creativity to a whole new level whether it’s designing on HHP or back on our own island.

Aah, there's so much to choose from! I'll cheat and pick my top 3.

1. Villager house remodels. I now just gift my villagers whatever because I know that when I remodel their houses, all of the throwback wrestling action figures and outdoor generators will poof! away and be replaced by, y'know, chic interior design. Makes gifting so much easier.

2. ALL OF THE NEW FURNITURE. Makes the game so much more fun to have more than 2.5 beds to choose from.

3. Crops/cooking. I really love the crops, and cooking just makes the game feel a lot more cosy. Plus, the food looks so dang good. Props to the art team!

It’s the catalogue! For sure, it’s the poki catalogue! Bless you Wardell

It makes me feel better about not wanting to collect/buy every piece of furniture nooks sells because I know i’ll get them all eventually in the catalog and have plenty of variety

The extra DIYs everyday are cool too though
