Opinions on flower themes?

I'm a huge hybrid lover and breed as many as I can. That said I just love pastel, girly hybrids so much more than the black or orange ones although I love those too! I've been considering keeping my town pastel-hybrids only but the thing is I do like the darker hybtids too and I've bred soooo many of them I'd feel sad getting rid of all of them. I need opinions on whether to keep my town pastel hybrids-only or put the non-pastel ones on the beach maybe? I need opinions and ideas!

Well you could always sell the darker hybrids. Personally, I prefer the darker mixes over the bright one. You could probably make some good TBT or IGB if you're willing to give them up. Or heck, even trade for other pastel colors.

Go with the pastels, and if you feel like changing the colors, you can always go to your extra flower supply and change it up a bit. I love breeding too. I end up with so many extras on my beach and in my closets that I have to start giving some away. I also changed my flower colors a ton of times with my first town before I was completely satisfied.

Mix the two! the darker hybrids will make your pastel hybrids look brighter! and the combo will look cool! you don't have to use all of them, but mixing it up will add depth to your town..... or sell some to me!

Agreed with this, especially if you use the blue roses with some of the pastel colours, it will really make them pop a whole lot more!

But hmm, you could always put some of the darker flowers in one of the museum spaces, make a little flower exhibit.

What I did with my town is the four villager houses I have are themed and so I have a "Spooky" House that has all of the black flowers around it and then the rest of my town is pastel red/white/pink/purple

it could be fun to mix the two ideas? mixing colors often gives great results! maybe blue + white, black + pink, purple + blue

you can mix them for sure I have done it in the past and it has looked great pink roses and black roses actually look very well together, they both bring each others color out more, white carnations with purple roses also very pleasing, black cosmos and pink lilies or pink lilies and black lilies. Combos are endless.

You could do the rows of same color tulips like a lot of the big tulip gardens.
