So, I've been wanting to Sos hunt for a Shiny Lapras for a while now because it's my favorite pokemon, but it's difficult for 3 main reasons:
1. It has a call rate of 3 (the worst in the game) meaning that Lapras will almost never call for help making it difficult to chain
2. It knows perish song so even if you do get it to call for help, it could just use perish song and faint, breaking your chain
3. It has a 5% encounter rate. Meaning that before you even battle it, it will be a grind
Fortunately I do have a shiny that I hatched from eggs on New Years', but I've always wanted to try to get one through sos but I'm not sure how you would circumvent/prevent the Lapras from using perish song
There’s this Easter egg in the original Rollercoaster Tycoon where— if you name a guest “Chris Sawyer” (the developer I think?) he’ll take pictures of all the rides. If you name one “Mr. Bean” he will drive all the go-karts slowly, and there’s a few other ones. I didn’t discover them until a few years ago.
Also…the amount of times I used to drown guests for dissing my park was crazy. Lately I haven’t done that, as I’m exploring the “pre-made parks” and trying the challenges on there. (Get this many guests in this amount of time, etc.)
Unlocked the RAI-DEN and it is, indeed, a very fun gun! Only drawback is that it's ineffectual against enemies w/o a weakpoint...so it won't even hurt them. Still, it was worth getting!
I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions on PSP. One big change from the PS version of the game is that the button for confirming is (x) on the bottom and no is (o) on the right. This is the opposite of how it was in the original game, so it took me a while to get used to it. Now I'm fumbling around on the Switch because yes is (a) on the right and no is (b) on the bottom... curse you, muscle memory!!
Finally unlocked the infinite Assault Rifle in RE3 remake! I'm having such a blast killing everything w/ the stuff I've unlocked! It's very cathartic lol.
One of my favorite random things in the original Final Fantasy Tactics is that the Sortilege perfume (a wearable accessory that provides perma protect and shell) ended up translated as Salty Rage. This may be one of my favorite item names of all time.
We'll be living in a post-chapter 3&4 world soon and I'm not sure if I'm quite ready yet... There's going to be so much chaos once those new Deltarune chapters drop. Like if who the knight is revealed, or more Gaster crumbs or any more weird route shenanigans is discovered. Gotta go full dark until I play through them myself.
I think Mizuki in Genshin is cute and interesting, but
her story honestly was making me a bit sleepy. It’s not the worst story that I played but pretty far from the best. I felt like the end was a bit cheesy in a way. I wasn’t impressed with Mavuika’s story either; the story had a kinda interesting concept but because how bland and not well developed the characters in Natlan including Mavuika was, it left much to be desired.
I wish Genshin have a dialogue skip button, simple as.
I mean, not everyone has the time to go through long, unwanted dialogue and sometimes i felt like the writers just wanted to make a visual novel and not a game oriented to action.
I can't tell if My Sims wants me to move every single townie in, or personalize and be picky. I like the townies because I get to build them alot of random stuff.
Gonna admit, I like making items more then houses, but I still like to personalize them. Houses take awhile for me to make lol.
I don't think it can be stated enough how much better of an improvement Rinascita/Ragunna has been to Wuthering Waves as the second region of the game compared to Liyue Harbor in Genshin Impact. Rinascita is just so amazing, there's so much to do, and you can even fly around the continent..... meanwhile Liyue was stale, as was the story, and the exploration was too. I understand the themes are different, but uh yeah, I'll definitely take Rinascita > Liyue any day of the week.
So there’s 30 different smoothie recipes in Echoes of Wisdom. I’m curious as to what the combos are made of…without making multiple “unfortunate smoothies.”
