as I suspected, the crystal ball collectible is starting to grow on me because it does, in fact, remind me of Madame Clairvoya. She's been my favourite portrait ghost in Luigi's Mansion for as long as I can remember. I've actually been very slightly tempted to set her gold portrait as my avatar hehe (though I really like the one I have now so I'm not sure).

also can't think of the lovely Madame without thinking of, what I consider to be, her theme song. this music technically plays whenever you talk to a ghost in LM (like when Melody Pianissima asks you to identify the piece she plays), but I always associate it with Madame Clairvoya and the hilarious things she says when trying to contact the spirits through her crystal ball. the music sounds so threatening and intense, but she's over here like "Your Mario has been imprisoned within a painting! My orb shows an odd altar, and--c'mon you stupid orb!--Yes! Above it, your Mario! Trapped in a painting!" not to mention her hacking and cackling like an absolute madman and then being like "sorry about that". just living her best life, being a spectral goddess as usual.

Molly McGee coming right in!

Though she canā€™t attend the Halloween Carnival event. Because everything she touches turns to joy.

When I went on the site for the first time today, I had 41 notifications. That is the most that I've ever had.

Saw a thread I didn't remember existed and my posts in it embarrass me and I wish it stayed dead. Why was I like that?

It has occurred to me that the Voodoo Doll, Ancient Candle and Pumpkin Cupcake are in the exact same order as Jeremy's does, what a coincidence.

So I made some interesting calculations. If you do all 48 tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, hereā€™s where the points go:
  • The highest score anyone can achieve in a 48-race marathon is 720. The lowest is 48.
  • The median score is 312 points.
  • The average score is 328 points.
  • The highest standard deviation the results can go to is 192.832.
  • The lowest standard deviation the results can go to is 26.533.

I want to enter another tent but canā€™t purchase a ticket yet, because 9 am is not a good time for it to expire on.

I've been fasting for the last 34 hours in order to induce autophagy and maximize its health benefits. But some clinical studies claim that in order to truly get the most out of this process one needs to do somewhere between 36-72 hours. Well, if that's the case, then I guess I'd be willing to keep on fasting for awhile longer.

Alright, I broke my fast near the 40 hour mark.

I was reading about Peter Pan on TV Tropes. Although it remains to be a Disney classic, there are a few things that wouldnā€™t sit well with modern viewers:
  • The portrayal of Native Americans is an obvious one, including the song, Peter turning red, and what they called Wendy.
  • The portrayal of the mermaids isnā€™t so good either.
  • Peter Pan is the most unlikable protagonist from the first 27 animated Disney features. The way he treated Captain Hook, his behavior towards Wendy, and the other things he done would make you not only hate him, but actually sympathize with Captain Hook. Even Walt Disney hated Peter.
To be honest, thereā€™s a lot from the older Disney movies that hasnā€™t aged well, and it goes further than Song of the South, Martins and the Coys, and that centaur from Fantasia (all three of them being removed or banned). Even if you ignore the racial stereotypes and gender stereotypes, as well as the sexualization of women, you still have a movie that portrays animals in a circus in a positive light, a movie where boys are turned into donkeys and sold to slavery, a movie where a prince kisses a princess on the first time they meet, and several movies where the rich are good and the poor are evil.

When I watched Put It Down on Saturday (the South Park episode), I knew there was a part at the end where everyone starts singing, and I knew Cartman comes into the song and starts rapping, but I wasn't expecting him to just casually drop the HARDEST verses I've ever heard. Seriously, that part is EASILY the best rap released after 2000.
