do it where? that's not a mechanic in the game.If Perish Song was used into a microphone, would this cause a lot of Pokémon to faint? Why don’t more people just do that?
My teacher’s brother worked with my favorite band. I just about died and ascended hearing thatwhy is teacher lore so JUICY. bro casually revealed that he shook obama’s hand when he was campaigning and met tyler joseph from twenty one pilots.
I know you can’t actually do this in game, but if you applied real life logic, it’s strange that no one’s ever tried this.do it where? that's not a mechanic in the game.
how would you apply real life logic to a game with a bound set of logical rules?I know you can’t actually do this in game, but if you applied real life logic, it’s strange that no one’s ever tried this.
I can have fun, can’t I?how would you apply real life logic to a game with a bound set of logical rules?
pokémon don't exist in real life.
of course! just trying to decipher the thought lol.I can have fun, can’t I?
Here’s a better wording of what I said at first: “What if Pokémon existed in real life?”. If Pokémon were real, what if someone used Perish Song into a microphone?of course! just trying to decipher the thought lol.
Another quote was from Celeste Holm, an actress who died in 2012. I looked up when she saw the show and it was around the time she had Alzheimer’s. I mean…Alzheimers’s or not, if one of your most relevant reviews is from 12 years ago, you need new quotes.I got the Shen Yen brochure in the mail and these “testimonies” are cracking me up. They have these (maybe fake?) quotes from Cate Blanchett and Donna Karan praising Shen Yun performances. They even have Shirley Ballas from Strictly Come Dancing say it was “beautifully choreographed”! Well, maybe it is beautiful, but isn’t Shen Yun connected to a cult? I still laughed at the random quotes from famous people.
I did the same thing. I think I used a thesaurus or one of those sites similar to that. Oh yeah that sounds like a fancy word, I'll use that for extra points lol.Every time I go back to something I've written, I'm always surprised by how descriptive and formal it is, especially in school assignments. I have this wonderfully extensive vocabulary, and it's only ever utilized in whatever subject I write. Some examples I can think of are "jeopardizing the affordability" (journal entry about rental housing for finance class) and "[It] won't make you prone to violence and debauchery" (opinionated article for English class)... I can assure you that I don't say 'debauchery' in casual conversation, I would just use a simpler, more slang-ish alternative.
Of course, I'm not saying I'm the most linguistically enriched person alive, but it's interesting to see the comparison of how I write vs. how I talk. I can't say my stories and journal prompts from elementary school were that detailed. They weren't bad per se, I did have some interesting ideas, but it was lacking panache. Using big words back then felt really odd my writing, so I'm glad I can use all kinds of language without it feeling out-of-place.
Exactly what I did! Of course 10-year-old me wasn't going around using "colloquialism" or some equally fancy-sounding word for the hell of it, but I would intentionally use basic words and replace them with better synonyms for extra points, like 'joyful' instead of 'happy'.I did the same thing. I still use the thesaurus on a regular basis, but that's mostly because I don't like having repetitive writing. I actually did that for that post I made. I didn't wanna use 'descriptive' twice, so I replaced it with 'detailed' instead.
I found Brazilian candy bar ads with big-butted chocolate bar people.
She was a child abuser. Jar Jar didn’t hurt anyone and actually had some funny moments. So people are now accepting of Jar Jar Binks, but they will always hate Dolores Umbridge.
