Who do I hope to win the Super Bowl? The Chiefs or the 49ers? It’s an easy choice. I previously lived in the city the Chiefs came from, while the 49ers was the team that started the national anthem protests (which I still oppose up to this day). I know the Chiefs won last year and won against the 49ers the last time they met in the Super Bowl, but I still am going for the Chiefs.

Same, I don't want to see the 49'ers win anything, lmao. Plus I have a family friend who's a longtime Chiefs fan, meanwhile I don't know of anyone personally who's a 49'ers fan, lmao.

I was hoping it would be the Chiefs and Lions to be honest. I was really pulling for the Lions, but ah well.

Oh boy sports talk! Nobody will know what I'm talking about below!
The 49ers better not win. Who cares if I consider Brock Purdy to be the best Mr. Irrelevant of all time; the team itself has a long history of winning and I don't root for such teams if they make it all the way, let alone blow our best shot at finally making it to the Super Bowl like they did. They're like the Dodgers and Yankees of the NFL. I was incredibly angry and heartbroken that our Lions blew a 17 point lead after halftime. 3rd quarter mishaps were one of the biggest concerns I had with the Lions all season, and they showed the nation exactly that. At least our offensive coordinator is coming back, so all hope of another run isn't lost. If anything, we need secondary players on defense. Cam Sutton has disappointed us too many times.

As for the Chiefs, I'm intrigued to see if Mahomes is going to become the next Tom Brady. He's only 28 years old, and has been to the Super Bowl four times in the past five years; winning two. Despite his over presence on TV commercials with State Farm, Subway, etc. (and Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift boosting NFL ratings by quadruple; not even joking), I actually like the guy. Meanwhile, my cousin has always talked about his burning hatred for the chiefs (especially Kelce), and I stand and shrug as I don't really have any strong opinion about the team's media presence.

I love the ORAS Slateport City theme so much 🥹💖 it's so good. The entire OST in general is just really great. 3D era/modern Pokémon music at its peak~

That’s the other reason why I’m rooting for the Chiefs. It’s because the 49ers robbed the Lions from their chance of making it to the Super Bowl. This was kind of the reason why I wanted the Chiefs to beat the Ravens after the Texans lost.

I saw these ads for this guy named Jeff Dunham, and I’ve never watched anything about him prior to this, but I think this guy might just be my new stand up comedian. Not that I already had one.

Also, completely unrelated side note, I burst out in laughter when I was watching a Vinesauce clip where Mario told Luigi “Luigi, go to the bathroom now, you’re gonna **** yourself”. Uh… yeah.

The scene in the game where Robo gets mercilessly beaten up by the other robots was both sad and brutal (you can't really do anything other than stand by and watch because they automatically knock you out if you try to help him).

The good thing is that you're able to kick their shiny metal asses soon after XD

I don’t usually support the idea of Tom Nook being a greedy, untrustworthy person, but I found this song called Nook, Line, and Sinker, and it’s actually really good.

I don't think the 49ers robbed us unfairly; our team simply got overconfident from being ahead by so much and it sort of spiraled out of control. That regular season game against the Cowboys, however...

I had no idea you're into that crazy Italian man. Vinny is great. I haven't watched any of his newer full streams since most of his New Horizons playthrough in 2020, but he's my favorite Twitch streamer. Always streams way too late, though, so I can never catch him live.

There's also been around 35 or so full stream corruption stockpiles posted since I last watched part 39 in early 2020, and I'm probably missing out on some real good stuff.

My parents used to watch crime shows like NCIS or Law and Order, and they actually did let me watch them. I’m not sure why I could watch something like Blue Bloods but not The Simpsons, because some of these episodes traumatized me. Like, there was this one about this kid who murdered his little brother just because he broke his toy plane. That made me scared, because if a 7 year old would do that, that meant I could get mad enough to do that to my own little brother. There was also this one about this Mexican serial killer who kept the heads of his victims as a trophy. That was, you know, very nice to watch for fourth grader me. But I actually really liked those shows, I wish they still watched them so I could watch with them. Or, you know, I could watch it on Hulu or something.

Actually, I don’t watch him. The way I found that clip was, uh, interesting, to say the least. I searched up a meme because I saw it in a video, and then I saw that as one of the results. But I have seen some of his other stream clips before.

Disproportionate retribution (unfair payback) is something that can be found in the Bible. In Esther, Haman plans to exterminate the entire Jewish race because Mordecai didn’t bow down to him. In Genesis, because the leader of a tribe sleeps with Jacob’s daughter (against her will), her brothers make them get circumcised and then kill the entire tribe. There’s also the fact that they sold Joseph into slavery just because they were tired of him being in the spotlight. It’s interesting how many tropes you can find in old material.

A few days ago, I watched the season two premiere of Futurama, even though it’s not labeled that way on Disney+. It’s called “I Second That Emotion”. The episode was pretty good and funny. In fact, the only thing I have to say about it is about him.

Bender’s a lot more of a jerk in this episode. He’s even revealed to literally be incapable of feeling bad for others. This tends to happen when a new season premieres, considering that there’s probably new writers and it’s been a while since the other writers wrote anything, but he was normal until he kickstarted the plot. He was still pretty funny, it’s just weird. I wonder if this will be temporary or if it will be like Jerkass Homer. (probably the latter)

so after finding out my dad isnt my dad (WHEW) i've been looking into my ancestry where i can. finding out im mostly hispanic is not... surprising? i mean, i sure as hell do not look polish. im varying degrees darker than my siblings, brown hair and brown eyes. however, finding out that i'm mostly indigenous- Yaqui, to be specific- has been VERY intriguing. i'm ashamed to say my knowledge about native cultures and history in northern america is really, really scant beyond what they've shared in school, and what my bestie has shared. learning more about it this weekend has been really fun! the "home" for the Yaqui tend to be Southern Arizona and Sonora MX around the Yaqui river (hence the name.)

i don't know what i'll do with this knowledge now, really, because i don't have any ties to whoever my dad would be. i'm not really hellbent on finding whoever my dad would be, he's not been in my life for 24 years and i doubt he'd want to be suddenly (maybe he didn't know i existed, which is highly likely) but if i did find him i'd want to know more about my heritage! i don't really care much about the specifics of who he was to my mother, i just wanna know more about my ancestry 👀

however, those kids in middle school who always asked me "are you mexican" really got the last laugh bc how the hell did they know before i did 😭

I finally had to google what “FWIW” means and now I’m just wondering why abbreviate a completely unnecessary addition to any sentence. At that point just leave it out

That's them Reddit mumbo jumbo, isn't it? 😬 I swear, every sentence there contains the randomest combination of uppercase letters thrown in there. 🙄 I'm too proud to look some of them up. I just guess in my head what that could mean or ignore it and move on. 😛

I feel like most of the new songs in Kirby Super Star Ultra wouldn’t be able to work in the original. Like this one:

There’s something about the pan flute and the way the harp sounds, especially compared to the Rest Point theme in the original, that makes me feel like it wouldn’t be able to sound the same on an SNES. The same goes for all the metal sounding songs in the game like Galacta Knight’s theme, The True Arena Theme (especially the second half), and the Helper to Hero theme. The only one that would translate well to Super Nintendo would be Masked Dedede’s theme.

I’m sure that made no sense to the majority of you reading this.

Hahah yes trying to read stuff on reddit is where I largely kept encountering it. Usually with the context of what’s being said I can decipher what the abbreviation is but not this time.
