Not sure if I prefer the white background over this faded brown color. I usually skip over February and March in ACNH.

A lot of people will call South Park mean spirited, but I think Family Guy (after around season 6) is 10x worse. For example, South Park has an entire episode dedicated to Mormons, and makes fun of the origin story of the religion a lot in the episode, but the lesson is that it doesn’t matter how the religion came to exist, but the effect it has on people. Family Guy has an episode called Not All Dogs Go To Heaven, and the lesson of that episode (while not the intended lesson) is essentially “believing in a religion immediately makes you stupid.” Usually, the only people South Park really dislikes are certain celebrities, but with other things, like political parties, religions, and definitely groups that have been marginalized, they really don’t hate them. Like, with religious and political groups, they might make fun of them, but they don’t really have anything against them (besides Scientology), unless you’re someone who forces others to be like you. With oppressed groups, they’re mostly for them, like in the N word episode, or a lot of the episodes about disabled or gay people. But with a lot of later Family Guy episodes, they might be for some groups, but it’s become practically impossible to tell, especially considering that they make anyone they disagree with have the most extreme straw man argument possible. So I think the difference is that South Park makes fun of people only because they think you should be able to make fun of anyone, and they have a lot of episodes for the people they’ve made fun of in other episodes. But in seasonal rot Family Guy, they make fun of basically anyone who’s not on their side. I saw a video talking about whether South Park is mean spirited or not, which made me think about this.

Adding onto a thought somebody had above.

I personally don't mind the content of adult animation. I even find some of the themes and episodes interesting. (specifically I remember a world of warcraft episode of south park I saw as a little kid). but they seem to have all have a distinct art style which has never appealed to me at all. (at least western adult animations). I can't pinpoint what exactly it is about the art, but even as a child I found it easy to spot an adult animation due to the unique look.

Milky Way Wishes was Super Mario Galaxy before Super Mario Galaxy, and I’m only just thinking about that.

I was gonna go on an 'abum grind' (AKA listening to a bunch of albums because I insist on hearing a band's entire discography) today, but I tapped out after the 3rd album. I think I should at least finish off the Slipknot songs before tackling Korn (and their 14 studio albums...), even though I'm almost halfway there already.

I dunno, it's weird going from "let's only hear songs from the same two bands" to "let's hear 2-3 hour long albums every day for the hell of it". 😭

For some reason, it had alternative interpretations. The intentions is that we passed 2,000 cookies, but this year is the Year of the Dragon, and 2000 was also the Year of the Dragon.

The Big Lebowski is such a ingenious idea for a movie.

A serious crime drama plot with a protagonist that doesn't care about it and would rather go bowling with his friends. I didn't appreciate it enough when I first watched it.

I’m a bit disappointed that no one has impersonated Supernanny Jo Frost for Snatch Game yet.

A few days ago, I watched a Futurama episode and noticed that one of the one off characters sounded kind of familiar. I thought it was Dan Castellaneta, since they’ve used him before, and it’s another show made by Matt Groening. But at the end of the episodes, he wasn’t listed in the credits. You wanna know who was listed in the credits? Tom Kenny. Yes, that Tom Kenny. This was during SpongeBob season 1, by the way. I checked IMDb, and yes, they did get him to voice that random character. I guess you learn something new every day.

I have 10 minutes left of a mediocre movie paused.

I know that when I unpause it will feel like the longest 10 minutes of my life.
