Well I’m so glad that the world didn’t end in 2012. If it did, then I would have never done the following:
  • Play Animal Crossing: New Leaf and subsequent games
  • Play Pokémon Sun/Moon
  • Collect TBT collectibles or even join this site (the Mayan Calendar even ended before the Chocolate Cake became a collectible)
  • Experience public Christmas light displays
  • Play the Nintendo Switch
  • Finish College
 
Thoughts on last night’s Drag Race premiere:

—Joella had my favorite entrance look. I even rewinded to watch it again! Love all the traditional Chinese elements.

—Kori King may be Plane Jane’s drag sister and “two sides of the same shady coin” but I like her better than Plane.

—Two Southern queens— Sam Star and Hormona Lisa. Love their accents! I’ve also followed Hormona long before the cast was announced and enjoy her aesthetic.

—Katy Perry as a guest judge, really? Also “she ate, she chewed, she swallowed” was redundant…eating IS chewing and swallowing lol.

—I have a lot of favorites, but my number 1 favorite queen is Suzie Toot. I love the ones who have a vintage aesthetic, and she can tap dance!

—I didn’t think Acacia’s talent show was bad…but I guess someone has to be in the bottom.

Idk…these are my thoughts so far. They are subject to change as the series progresses.

I love antarctica. i love that there’s an almost completely empty continent smack dab at the bottom of the world with rarely seen or touched mountains, some vaguely human-shaped and sized birds walking around.
 
Something I learned: You never truly appreciate or find the charm to a character's design until you draw it. Even simple ones. Though I find some are hard to draw!
 
I wonder if there's any old folks out there who use discord, but I highly doubt it. Most discord users are young people, so the odds of finding a discord user who's older (let's say 60+ for example) are pretty much slim to none.

I love food perhaps too much, but lately have been trying to teach myself more self-restraint by only eating a bit of something that's my family's and then leaving the rest for them. It's baby steps, but good progress (none of this will matter that much when I move out in a couple months because I'll be on my own, but it's still a good lesson/skill to learn).

Also, unrelated but DANG Wuthering Waves looks good on my TV monitor. I haven't tried playing Zenless Zone Zero or Wuthering Waves on it yet, but it looks lovely. Especially flight mode.
 
so I have a touch lamp on my side table next to my bed, and my cat Ash has apparently learned how to use it to wake me up. he knows that if he bumps the lampshade with his nose, it'll turn on and I'll wake up. the first time I thought it was an accident, but he's done it about 3-4 times now, so I don't think it's a coincidence anymore 😂
 
I have never seen the movie Wish and I don’t know much about it, other than the fact that a lot of people didn’t like it. Apparently the girl is in love with a star? And the villain is some creepy dude with a mustache?

HOWEVER, I did a little digging on it and…Simon? If this was MY movie, he’d be the main love interest. A guy who loves sleep and cookies?? Perfect! It would’ve been a nice cozy movie that way.
 
As an American, I’ve consumed enough British media to tell the difference between some of the dialects— Northern, Southern, Birmingham, etc. My dad was like, “There’s a difference? How can you tell she’s Northern? etc.”

I’m kinda surprised since he watches a lot of Beatles and Rolling Stones stuff. The Beatles have a distinct Liverpool accent.
 
It’s really weird / funny how I have such a sailor’s mouth but I can keep myself from swearing so naturally on here… I assure you I CANNOT in other spaces. Oops.
