We got this new toy at work and it's so much fun. If any of you have small children in your life I absolutely recommend it!! It's a stacking toy but instead of rings it's little gears that spin as they go down.

It is so mesmerizing the kids absolutely love it. It's great for working on their fine motor skills (grasping the rings and trying to put them on the pole, the gears also have a smaller hole than stacking rings so it's extra challenging), colour recognition, counting, and it's calming for kids to watch the motion!!

Tagging @Foreverfox because I know you have a little one and if you don't have this toy yet I think he'd like it!!

Since Daylight Savings Time began in March instead of April back in 2007, I noticed several coincidences about the change in weeks DST begins and ends in:
  • The last year DST began in a month with a Friday the 13th without ending in another month with a Friday the 13th was April 2001. The next year Friday the 13th would occur in April was 2007, the first year DST began in March.
  • On a related note, April 2001 was the first time Friday the 13th landed in April in over 10 years.
  • The last year DST ended in a month with a Friday the 13th without beginning in another month with a Friday the 13th was October 2006. It was also the last time DST ended in October. Since then, it ended in November.
  • On a related note, October 2006 was the last time Friday the 13th landed in October for over 10 years. Before it landed in October again, there were three years that had three Friday the 13ths.
  • Speaking of which, two of the three years with three Friday the 13ths since DST began in March had DST begin in and end in months with a Friday the 13th. The other year with three Friday the 13ths had DST begin on March 11th, the same date DST began on in 2007.
  • Meanwhile, the only year so far where DST began in and ended in two months with a Friday the 13th without a third Friday the 13th was the first year of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
That’s a lot of coincidences by changing the days DST began on and ended on.
