Place your random thoughts.

Under the birthdays tab, I’m thinking it should omit users that haven’t been active for over three years. There should be some threshold.
This actually happens already! I believe anybody who's been inactive for a year or longer won't appear on the birthday page, along with anywhere where you'd have a list of users appear (i.e. the autocomplete list that appears when @ing or sending a collectible to another user).

I was so sick of him, I blocked him on Twitter so I could stop hearing about him. If he deleted my Twitter bc I blocked him, that’s his problem. 😂 (I’m sure a bunch of other people have blocked him, though.)
I blocked him after preaching about how 'free speech' is back. This was around the time he brought the (already) cesspool of a site. It's sad to know the bad feeling I had from him was right.

Also good luck with him trying to delete my account, I already deleted it myself. hahaha

I just hope everyone I was following/following me back are ok. Some already either abandoned their accounts or staying on that site.

Prepping meals for the next few days at 2-3 in the morning is kind of not fun.

Smells good though.

Sometimes I wonder if my parents are right when they say I could have perfect grades if I tried a little harder. At first I thought they were being ridiculous since my grades are always really good, but then I started to realize how often I’ll start an assignment and not feel like actually doing it. Like this math test we did a few days ago, which I think I did really badly on even though that’s usually the subject I have the best grades in. But when I actually looked at the test it made no sense. It would have been less confusing if I used the study guide, but I didn’t because… didn’t wanna. But then I also heard the other people who usually do well in math say it was hard so maybe it’s not just me. But I feel like it is. I don’t know if I’m too tired or just too lazy. Maybe there’s just something wrong with me or maybe I’m somehow getting dumber as time goes on.

Edit: oh yeah… I forgot I have midterms next week… kill me. Maybe that’s actually going to be a good thing since if I do well on the math one, and all the other ones, then my grades will go up a lot, but this is stressing me out so much.

A few years ago I read a tweet saying, “Microwaving fish is psychotic behavior.” I was so dumb, I thought they meant like, a live goldfish, then the comments told me they meant fish as in FOOD. 😂

So I tried to do research on why right-wing news outlets tend to lie more than the left-wing news outlets. Normally, when people lie like that, it’s because if they tell the truth, they won’t get what they want. I don’t think it’s much that conservative ideology that leads to lies, but rather what they value and how they value it that leads to lies. It’s all about power.

I could name every case where they lie and why they lie, but it basically boils down to that they are only about themselves.

(in tune of “Drift Away”)
Ban the TikTok and free my soul,
Annoying people got nowhere to go
But far away
After they ban TikTok I really doubt TikTokers will go away. They still have places to migrate to, like YouTube. This entire thing made me realize that a lot of the issues with TikTok aren’t inherent to it, just people on it, and when it goes away, they’ll just find new places to make videos on. I think it’s mostly just that TikTok has a higher concentration of stupid people than normal.

It is harder to find users and some videos on YouTube than on Tiktok.

Yeah Tumblr had such a toxic community and then the site started moderate it more. Those horrible people rushed Twitter and since then it's been a cesspit. Tiktok 'will close their doors' and so these people will ruin something else. Maybe they'll join the mass and spread more hatred on Twitter or ruin something else that was decent enough like Youtube which I would hate.

They better not ruin this forum. I don’t want to live through what I went through in 2015 again.

I wouldn’t really be worried about them randomly deciding to come to a niche fandom site like this, given that a lot of them probably don’t even know what a forum is, and besides, the worst I can imagine that they’d do that wouldn’t break the rules would just be being super cringe lol.

Yeah…they’ll also ruin Instagram lol.

I used to think that Victorian “baby farming” referred to people who were so poor that they had have a bunch of children and adopt them out.

Actually, it was taking care of babies for money— usually children of unwed mothers —but not all “farmers” adopted the kids. Some did for a lump-sum, but what I found was it was usually a temporary arrangement.

Also…a lot of these baby farmers were serial killers. I mean, not all of them, but enough to where it’s noticeable.

Still not sure where the “farming” comes in, though.
