i'm trying to be more grateful and enjoy what i already have instead of trying to buy more stuff. there are these toys i really wanted from japan that i was debating whether or not to buy but i think i have to refrain given the volatile situation right now.

I love those moments when I walk through the house and suddenly run into a cat and he's like "meow".
Or sometimes I'm really focused on something and not paying attention to anything around me and then at some point I realize there is a cat sitting on me and I'm like "kitty!!!!!".

When I was a kid, some of my neighbor friends had those wireless PlayStation controllers that worked at long distance, so they would use them in the bathroom. Honestly, I like the wireless stuff, but the bathroom? Idk

Is it acceptable to tell someone you fancy them even if they're going out with someone else? Or at least tell them they look nice. Asking for a friend...

For a while I’ve had the idea that when the egg decorating event came, I should make an egg that was Dr. I’ve come to make an announcement

but I was never planning on actually making one, I just had the thought. Mainly because 1) lazy, 2) unskilled, 3) relevant to this year’s version, I don’t have any art softwares. Because of that I probably still won’t but it would be a really funny idea.
You should definitely do this! I don't have an art software, tbh I just used an online one (sketch.io to be specific, but it wasn't that great tbh, kind of hard to use on mobile and it's in-app tools were limited and finicky but I managed) so you could always use something like that. I'm also really unused to digital art but it's still fun to do regardless of skill level, and I'm definitely not just biased to see an egg designed like dr egg man. That aside, I think you should give it a go if you want to, don't mind skill level or anything

I read about an episode of “A Haunting” where a couple buys a farm in New Hampshire to run a horse-riding school, but ghosts scare away prospective students. They later discover the main culprit is a demon named Samuel, who has manipulated four good ghosts to do his bidding— a pioneer girl, a Native American warrior, and a colonial soldier and his wife. Honestly, if it wasn’t a true story, it would have made an awesome novel.

this is embarrassing but i got rejected from target.. twice. i didn’t even make it to the interview and i think the rejected me because of my availability bc i’m a full time college student.

I’ll think about it…

Hopefully I can settle on a default icon for my TBT account, because I simply cannot make up my mind. But I know it should have either Kieran in it, or my OC, or both of them. (For that last choice, I'd either have to draw them myself or commission someone here.)

It's absolutely exhausting when somebody brings politics into something completely unrelated.

"Did you hear about the increased risk of wild fires this year"?

Then you'll see a comment that says: "It's probably the liberals".

It comes across as obsessive.
To be fair to this one while wildfires obviously aren't 'caused by tHe LiBs their increased occurrence in recent years is a result of climate change which is very much a political issue.

Yes. It's the blame game which is nonsense.
Also, I think at one time forest fires were blamed on hippies waaay back when.
There are multiple factors to wildfires whether from a campfire, cigarette, or lack of rain.
Infact a build up of brush is an increased risk. Brush or plant waste build up could be from a storm knocking down trees, plant over growth, fungus or lack of fungus, lack of human hand removal of waste, and lack of bugs. Basically small creatures like micro organisms, bugs, and fungi break down plant matter waste like leaves twigs and logs and moisture is needed for that so even lack of rain pertains to that. And if a forest canopy is disturbed.. like thinned out, that can effect ground level mist/dew/moisture too. So you could even bring logging into increasing risk.
Nature is about balance. Humans struggle with balance, and sadly being mindful.
