I beat Ramos too!
Just to let you guys know,a huge thunderstorm hit my area a few days ago and many wi-fi connections are busted,including mine so i won't be able to update so much for a while.
Anyways,huge update:
As i said before,Corinna's Hawlucha killed Piera,since my whole team was weak to it i grinded until she evolved and learned flamethrower hoping to one shot it,but it survived on red health and Piera got one shotted instead
I then added Lapras to my team,and i reached Ramos's gym very easily,before facing him i had my encounter on route 13 and got a Gible!! Finally a great encounter I then defeated Ramos pretty easily,and grinded a bit.

Part 5 has just started!! Everyone may advance to beating Clemont, and nowhere past defeating him. Part 5 will end on Friday, 9/18/2015 at 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST)!! After that, Part 6 will begin.


I'll update the thread with my updated team once I beat Clemont.

I just defeated Clemont. I nearly goofed by sending out Berserk rather than Hamlet against his Emolga, but even so, I managed to defeat him quite easily.

I'll update my trainer card whenever Gallows evolves. I personally don't think that updating it just for one badge is necessary. Anyway, my team thus far is:

(I actually didn't grind much for this part. I hate Route 13 with a passion and Route 14 wasn't open yet, so I might have broken my no EXP share rule so that I could get Gallows and Buzz Buzz up in levels.)

EDIT: I also just realised how blue my trainer is. I mean, she has a blue shirt, blue pants, a blue bag, blue eyes... I'm surprised I haven't gotten a blue hat or shoes yet.

Also, I have a quick question for you all. While training on Route 14 so that I could evolve Gallows into Lampent, I managed to find a shiny Carnivine, which I kind of want to use. Problem is, I already have Berserk. Should I replace someone on my team with Carnivine, or should I just keep him boxed until I decide to do another Y run?

Thank you! I'm really enjoying it at the moment- especially Vespiquen. I didn't expect it to be so fun to use ingame due to how tanky it is, but it's really fun to mess around with.

Thing is, though, I'm kind of attached to my team as it is. I'm leaning more towards transferring it to a new file once we've finished this and using it as part of my team then.

I definitely like that idea! When the time comes, though, I don't suppose you'd have a problem with me going a little past the Champion to get the VS Seeker? I'd love to record my battles.

I'd consider it more if I wasn't using Azumarill, but seeing as my main Azumarill strategy is to equip it with a Quick Claw and let it wreck stuff, I don't have it for Carnivine. I probably can't afford to give up Berserk for it.

Clemont was a real pain for me!

I had to sacrifice Karpador to save the rest of my team as everyone was at 20 or below HP

Just beat Clemont! I almost lost Alex to Helioptile's Grass Know, but it lived on 10. I then went to 1-up and beat it with Toxic+Venoshock. (and 1-Up evolved into amoonguss)

I also grinded at the two star restaurant after that,probably a bit too much,i evolved my Franco into Garchomp and Gianni into Vileplume when he finally learned Giga Drain

Also, I beat Clemont yesterday!! His team was a little harder than some of the other gym leaders, mainly his Magneton, but I managed to defeat it and not lose any Pokemon in my Wonderlocke by switching out constantly till Magneton fell at the end... Here is my updated Wonderlocke Team!

Forgot to mention I got Unown in my Wonderlocke from the Lumiose Badlands... I captured the first Pokemon there, a Trapinch and nicknamed it "It's a trap!", wonderlocking it away and getting the new Unown on the first try


Also, when I went back into the Pokemon Center in Lumiose City last night Nurse Joy told me that my Pokemon were infected with Pokerus, and that they'd grow much quicker. I plan on grinding my team against the Battle Chateau to raise them all to Level 50 before starting Route 14.... And just so you guys know I've raised them to be this strong without using Exp Share the whole game, and relying on grinding the Battle Chateau and starred restaurants in Lumiose City...


Earth Wolf-Howl, I'm challenging you to our second Rival Battle now!! I want to battle you again on our X/Y files now that both our teams are much stronger...

@Ryu: I might have gone up into Route 14 to grind... but I haven't progressed any further than the first patch of grass. I completely forgot that the restaurants exist... Maybe that was a good thing, though.
