Anyhow, I just defeated Valerie now. I also learnt that the Dusk Stone you get here is gotten in the postgame- which is kind of a shame; I wanted to utilize Chandelure's power earlier.

Anyhow, here's my team at the moment:

Adamant- Capable of taking hits

Poison Jab/Leech Seed/Seed Bomb/Spiky Shield

(Figures. I put Poison Jab on Berserk's moveset to deal with Fairies and I don't even use him in the battle.)


Orca- Female- Level 41 (w/ Quick Claw)
Docile- Mischievous

Return/Aqua Tail/Double-Edge/Aqua Ring


Buzz Buzz- Female- Level 41 (w/ Leftovers)
Brave- Scatters things often

Fly/Slash/Flame Burst/Smokescreen

(I'm half-tempted to trade Samuel to OR and teach him Air Slash and Heat Wave before we continue. Flame Burst just isn't cutting it.)

Just beat Valerie. Her Mr. Mime was a pain, due to the fact that my only 'fair KOer' is Amoongus. I beat her using the Tank that is Bastiodon.
