Poems

ok well i'll share some i guess. I don't really rhyme...

climbing higher
hands sore, feet numb
fingers digging into the branches,
like claws in rich soil
reaching for the next branch
to climb,
climb to my dreams and goals and rights
all like a dream in the back of my mind
like sleeping in peace when i close my eyes

The sun shines brighter
On the other side of the mountain

the grass is greener
on the other side of the fence

life is simpler
when everyone's content with what they have

The old tower o_O

On top of the old tower
I see the man
He hungers for power
Then I ran
Far away
Far Far away
To where my destiny awaits
For I know the man atop of the tower
who hungers for power
more and more each day
till he thrives or fails
and till he does, he'll be waiting
on top of the same old tower

xD lol i wrote that as i went. hmmmm it kinda sounds like this person is the man who hungers for power...o: [i guess the person saying the words wouldn't be me...I'm a girl] >:p

The Odd One Out

The groups and cliques
all have their fun
by teasing others
or excluding someone

But to be
the odd one out
it takes courage
and bravery

You're not alone
When you're the odd one out
There are others like you
that like you and me

Together
lets form our own clique
lets call ourselves
The Odd Ones Out

Let's exclude those who excluded us!
Let them see how it feels!
But no,
then we will become them.

Instead,
let's welcome all
not be just a refuge
for the odd

But a family
for everyone
including those
who don't need one

So really
If you think
Everyone is really
An Odd One Out
