Point of the ABD?

Do you guys use the ABD on here?
Whats the point of it other than to hide your bells?
Is it worth using?
Ive been wondering but been too scared to ask >.<

there used to be interest, but now I just use it to save bells that Im gonna spend in the future

like say i bid 500 tbt on something, i will put 500 tbt in the ABD

i also use it sometimes to keep my bell count at a good number, like 3k exactly just to look cool

I've used it just to store bells, I think it helps to store it there if you're really tempted to use your TBT but shouldn't

Before people stored bells in the ABD to also collect interest (though the interest wasn't much unless you had a lot of bells), but the interest system is disabled now.

It's to save up some bells, but other than that.... I don't really use it.
